I am 12 years old and bought this sword for myself. you have to keep in mind how long it is and its a little on the heavy side but over all its a incredible sword I use it every day play fighting with my sister. yes you can actually hit stuff with it.

I'm 6.1 & this sword is the perfect size! Though not for full on combat use, play fighting is perfect. I cosplay & it's the best one on Amazon. The 41in is definitely true to life, don't buy the other ones that are only 32in. You will be disappointed cause they dwarf the real size as these are excellent length & superbly made. Other places want in upwards of over $100! These for a quarter of that are an SAO fans dream come true! Highly prefer seller.

I think the handle was broken right from the start - but when a 13yo is eagerly awaiting his sword, he doesnt have patience to dillydally with returns.And then half of the blade’s tip broke off. Given the jagged nature of the tear, Im not sure how it happened.... but given that its a foam sword intended to be played roughly with, its disappointing that it looked so trashed so quickly. Glue and adult repairing can only restore so much dignity.My son was disappointed that it broke so quickly, but enjoyed playing with it, and its joined the Nerf and foam arms cache in his closet.

I thought that this was going to just be cheap lightweight foam, but it's actually pretty hard! Like to the point where it would leave a bruise if you get hit with it! It's still decently lightweight, so it'll be easy for my husband to hang in his office. Made a great Christmas present!!

I dont write reviews often, but I feel the need to do so for this particular item.First off, the good. The sword is very detailed; coloring, shape, even the enlays are raised/depressed instead of just painted on. Really a great level of detail quality for the price. Great for display or cosplay, but as stated in other reviews terrible for swordplay. It arrived much earlier than expected too, but that leads me to the bad.First off, the actual "shipping" was just card board wrapped around a plastic bag. No definite shape, no integrity, just enough to pass shipping standards. Second, the sword had torn through the bag (as it was not secured to the cardboard and was able to move around freely) and had rubbed off enough paint to be noticable and hard to fix (the latex coating had come off as well). Lastly, during our first time using it (my little brother's birthday) both the diamond crossguard and the tip of the blade came completely detached and, then revealed, was supported by nothing more than wire. Very bad for structural integrity, lending even more to it's uselessness for swordplay.So overall, great for show if it comes shipped right; terrible for use beyond carrying it around.I hope this helps you make a decision, happy hunting.

The sword is perfect, it's bigger than what I thought it was but that's a good thing. My 13 year old son loves it. He has both this one and the black one now, so he's a happy little clam. The sword is super sturdy, with great coloring. He's been banging them around and its not scratching off or chipping the foam at all. We ordered one before Christmas and it got lost in the mail, but the seller quickly offered to reship and it arrived within a few days. Very happy with both product and seller.

Its an amazing looking sword, and I like it.. but it has its issues.. After about 2 days of having this sword one of the cross bars broke off and was very disappointed, the painting job was awfully made! Some of the paint was coming off, and whoever painted it did an awful job in doing so.. I would give this a 4 Star if it weren't for one of the cross bars coming off in like 2 days, which had disappointed and angered me! I could of handled the awful paint job, but the cross bars falling off just gave this review a 3 Star.. This sword is worth buying, but not good for practicing, using, or even touching it, as it'll remove the paint or completely destroy one of the cross bars. I had to super glue one of the cross bars which is very noticeable that it broke..

Good weight and size. Tip is fragile and broke off with normal use.
