Exactly as I remembered...
Ordered due to MRE nostalgia, and I am extremely pleased with the product - it is exactly as I remembered!This is not hot and spicy ... maybe a 2.5 out of 10 on the spicy scale, it is just mildly warm yet mildly flavorful. More than just a squeezable cheese.Gonna keep a couple pouches of this JalapeƱo Cheese Spread in my EDC backpack for those days when I can't pull a lunch break.

I sure wish they hadn't reduced the serving size from 1.5 oz to 1 oz, other than that these are great to have in the pantry for emergency supplies along with some pilot bread. Shelf-life is at least a couple years.
