I've just had a week skiing using this support and found it to be the best I've ever used.Once on it stayed in position all day and felt very secure and supportive round my knee.It was comfortable to wear all day and definitely did it's job.I would say the only bad bit is that it is quite bulky, this didn't worry me because I wore it under salopetes but with normal trousers I think I would have struggled to get them over it, certainly couldn't wear it under jeans.I would buy this again.

I don't know if this would work for all conditions.I have arthritic knee joints & recently badly sprained my left knee. Even after the swelling had gone down I was unable to put weight on the knee without significant pain. Using the support I can now walk without pain for quite a distance. The support has not cured my condition but has given me mobility whilst I wait for the NHS to spring into action (could be quite a while) The support is bulky so you won't be wearing it under tight fitting jeans & even with the hinged plates you cannot bend the knee completely. That said the plates & springs give far more support than the Neoprene only items. Quality seems good, stitching ok, velcro straps allow you to adjust the fit to suit. Overall a decent product that has given me a measure of mobility that I would not have had without it.

I am awaiting a knee replacement but due to present circumstances will have to wait some months. My consultant instructed me to wear a ridged brace to save my knee, but the only one the nhs could provide was impossible to wear, so I looked at good old Amazon and found this! It is perfect!

I have had many knee braces this is the best stays in place is easy to wear all day without causing any friction or pain . Large enough to fit even when my knee is really swollen

Twisted my knee and felt unstable when I stood up.. The brace gives that stability...Feels comfortable to wear but I'm yet to wear it for an whole day... I've brought it to wear so I can return to work. First impressions is it seems to do what it's intended to do..

Been having a lot of pain on the outside my knee in particular coming down stairs. Put the brace on and haven't had as much pain so it's definitely helping.

Good support but very BULKY
