Accurate But Frustrating
Accurate measurements but it keeps resetting itself back to the original settings. It gets a bit old having to reset from Celsius to Fahrenheit and resetting the time and date.

You get what you pay for!
This thermometer malfunctioned within the first 24hrs that I used it. I have attempted to reset it several times with no luck and it now refuses to switch to F from C. Not at all impressed.

Decent Enough and works as expected, needs back magnet to stick on fridge, mine does stay on Farenheit, comes with AAA Battery
I am a sucker for statistics and want to check stats on lot of common stuff around. I wear a fitbit type of activity tracker just so I could see how many steps I take per day. No, this is not for me to start exercising but just something I like to do. I am now pushing this obsession to monitoring the home temperature and humidity levels. I am pretty sure I am not going to do anything useful with this information but if I can then why not.So I got this particular temperature and Humidity sensor. It has big LCD screen which always helps and since this is primarily not a clock, the clock / timings is shown in small font on the device. The temperature and humidity display is bigger. Now it seems mine is little different from the one shown in the description. The attached wire in mine seems to be fixed and cannot be removed unless I open the unit. At the end of the wire is a probe sort of to measure the OUT temperature and humidity. In order to check that the probe is working, I put that in the freezer while the main unit was outside. So while the temperature of IN stayed at 22 degrees celsius or so, the OUT temperature quickly dropped to -18 degree celsius. You can check the picture where I kept the unit inside to take a pic and by the time I could click the pic, the temperature had already rose to -10.Now In terms of humidity meter, I am not sure if I was doing it right or not but I dropped the probein a glass of water to see if it shows me 100 percent humidity. It did not. I may be wrong here in the method used. The humidity always hovered between 48 to 52 degrees which was same as IN one. Infact in general use, I have observed that when placed inside the home, the humidity for both IN and OUT was always same but temperature usually varied by 1 degree Fahrenheit, with the IN being cooler. You can rest this thing in slant / incline position on desk or table or hang on the wall. I would have loved a third option of being able to stick on a fridge like some of those kitchen timers have. That is seriously needed I feel. So overall this thing does work and as far as temperature is concerned, it seems pretty good, cannot say about humidity since I do not have any other thing which can tell me humidity. I do see couple of reviewers mentioning that they could not get the display to stay at Fahrenheit and would default back to celsius, I did not face any such issues and it has been 24 Hours I have kept it on Farenheit. I usually prefer celsius.*I received this product at a discounted price in exchange of a honest and unbiased feedback. All opinions expressed are my own on the basis of my usage of the product.
