Good Cherry Flavour
Added a lovely cherry flavour to my buttercream. As some reviews of this products some claim this flavouring had a chemical taste, mine did not. Also some say this flavouring was very strong so I was stingy on the amount I used only to find in the end I could have done with a bit more.We all have different tastes and from my use of this product I found it gave me the flavour I was looking for and did not have any bad after taste.

True to Flavour
On opening the bottle it has a delicious deep custard smell. When using always add to liquid ingredients otherwise it can taste bitter. I made a Custard Cream Biscuit Cake adding the essence to the eggs for the cake mix and with a little milk for the buttercream, and I’ve never seen a cake get demolished so quickly! Would definitely buy again/recommend and I will be trying other flavours in this range.

Good mixing, less good taste
The media could not be loaded. Mixes well into liquids.Video is plum flavouring in water. Candy floss flavouring mixes the same, but the plum is easier to see.I have also tried this type of flavouring in milk, chocolate and butter. Doesn't mix as well in butter, but still well enough to use. Great for making flavoured popcorn by adding it to the butter before popping.Haven't tried it for baking yet, but I imagine if it's put in with liquid ingredients it will go well.Flavour isn't great though. The "candy floss" tastes more like basic supermarket vanilla or caramel. It's not the light, sweet flavour I expect from candy floss. I'm not sure I'll ever find a time I want to use this to be honest. Although I guess it might be to somebody's taste. So far my experience with other flavours (plum and blueberry) isn't amazing, but is better than this. Those flavours aren't right (very fake, chemical flavours), but they are kinda nice one you accept them for what they are. The candy floss is honestly just not great to me.Still despite the less than great taste I would be open to getting more from this brand. They're a pretty decent price and do mix well. It's a gamble I might be willing to take especially with liquid friendly flavours being hard to find at times. And I think some flavours would be a safer bet than others.

A little pricey but cheaper than going to the funfair for candy floss!
Easy to use and a sweet taste exactly like the real thing but ideal as you can use it for so many baking projects, it’s the funfair taste without the sticky fingers and ideal for my daughter who has allergies…she doesn’t have to miss out!!

Tastes like bitter aloes
I follow a ketogenic lifestyle and bought this flavouring to add a creamy vanilla taste to baked goods, ice cream, shakes and sauces. Unfortunately, even the tiniest drop leaves a terrible synthetic taste in the mouth and you need far more than a tiny drop to taste the custard flavour! For those old enough to remember bitter aloes as a nail-biting preventative, this is flavouring would achieve the same effect if painted on fingernails. It also smells like chemical fumes when you open the bottle, which really isn't a great first impression.I assume that ultra-high sugar recipes may somehow mask the taste but neither allulose nor erythritol achieve that feat.To be perfectly fair in my testing, I used this to make ice cream, cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, shakes, brioche, waffles, caramel sauce and sweet browned butter. It completely ruined everything I used it in - giving everything a bitter, chemical taste in the mouth.Waste of money for the product and a waste of all the ingredients this ruined.
