Finally, a model for artistic adults !
Many of us grew up making a plastic model here or there, and finally a company is supplying a modern take on modeling using the lates tech. Imagine taking fine woods and veneers and using a laser cutter to create small-scale reproductions of the gems of the field of architecture. The amount of research and trial and error that must have gone into the creations must have been overwhelming for the designers, yet the end result is both beautiful and a joy to build. The Frank Lloyd Wright series of buildings, from the modelers perspectives, is about as challenging a model as you will find. And the Guggenheim kit makes a great primer before tackling the truly impressive, and challenging, build of the Unity Temple kit. Even so, the Guggenheim kit assembly process will take a good 3 hours or more to assemble the 60 pieces, with the end result in lovely wood surfaces. Here's to the future of laser-cut wood models and I can't wait to see what comes next !

Garbage
This thing is garbage. Chintzy, thin, tissue paper held together with glue. Buy the Lego version instead.

A beautifully designed and easy-to-build model kit
The instructions made the kit easy and quick to build. And the result is a beautiful display that really captures the museum's design. The wood used is high quality and the parts are very precisely cut. Everything is included except white or wood glue. I highly recommend this kit if you're a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright. A fun model kit!

Top notch model kit
My eleven year old son and I did this model together. The directions were clear, and the materials were extremely well crafted and prepped for construction. We both thoroughly enjoyed it - the bonding experience was priceless - and now we have a beautiful piece to display forever!

Frank Lloyd Wright Would Be Pleased!
I had a lot of fun putting together this wooden model of Frank Lloyd Wright's Guggenheim Museum, one of his last and greatest works. I've been to the museum twice, and it is a beautiful and fascinating edifice. How nice to be able to add it to my growing New York skyline collection!

Fun to Put Together and Show-Off
This is my second purchase of the Guggenheim Museum from Little Building Company. (The first one was purchased directly from the company but I gave the first model away as a gift--hence the need to replace.) I have also purchased a number of other models from this company including the Sydney Opera House, the Tate Modern in London, Farnsworth House and the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Unity Temple. These models have a number of things in common: clear directions, (most anybody can assemble these models), quality materials and reasonably priced. It was fun to assemble the models and it has pride of place in my office. I am a frustrated architect and having this opportunity to put together world famous structures gives me joy and a sense of accomplishment.
