Dog Leash for Medium, Large and Small Dogs - 6 Foot Dog Leashes for Training and Daily Walks - Durable Sizes in Lightweight and Heavy Duty for Small and Large Breeds (2-Layer, Blue)

When I got this leash I didn't realize it was 6 ft long and I thought it wasn't going to work. The longer the leash the easier it is to pull the human. I love the quality of it, the hook is very sturdy and heavyweight, the handle is padded, so I decided to tie a knot in the middle of the leash to shorten it. Voila! By now have a heavy duty two handled leash. I don't need another one I've been using this one for over a year at least but I want to make sure I have a backup because they do go out of stock they're that good.

I have 2 leashes for my Australian Shepherd. I have a retractable leash and I have the "PetsLovers Premium Dog Leash - Heavy Duty Strap, Padded Handle, Ambient Colors - 6 Feet Long, 1 Inch Wide" in reflective black. I came back to write a review for this order after walking my dog on both leashes for 2 full months. The PetsLovers leash is my preferred leash for a few reasons. It is extremely strong and durable so as much as my dog has tried to bite her leash there is not a mark on it, compared to my dog almost biting through the other leash. A 6 foot leash is perfect in length - as I've tied 3 knots along the leash for where I prefer to hold it so that I can have my dog on a very short leash, and short leash with some slack, or a longer leash where my dog can lead me if she'd like to. It is has reflective material along the leash, so that we are both a bit more visible at night. I don't see any problem with the metal parts - they're holding up just fine - and the handle is soft and comfortable. It also has a little clip for the poop bags! 5 stars on this one - bravo - I will be purchasing another one, but probably not anytime soon given how durable this leash is!

We recently got another German Shepard puppy and I wanted to buy another leash for the new pup. I then realized I've had the same leash for my other shepard for almost 8 years and its still perfect. My last leash was purchased prior to ecommerce being what it is today and I purchased from our trainer and I was excited to find it on Amazon and ordered. The other (2 layer) leash has endured puppy training, been drug all over the yard, though mud/water/snow, been on many walks and still functions perfect without any tears or rips and the clasp still works perfect. The new leash appears to be identical to the old leash, so I expect the same from it. I will be ordering more! My only wish is that they were also offered in longer lengths. A 15 and 20ft would be great for training.

I went to buy a leash to Petsmart. I want to have an extra leash, but the ones at Petsmart didn't compare with the one I have who is 2 layers heavy duty. The ones at Petsmart was the same material as the one I have, but not double layer and the double layer makes a big difference. I went to look at Petco and didn't find it. I thought I was losing my time not look online. I was lucky to find this one, double layer, exactly like the one I have, and even with improvements, like a reflective line for being safe at nights, more comfortable padded handle and a metal ring to attach keys, poop bags, or even use to pull. Is the best leash I see for now on quality. I hope the makers of this leashes also make one with 2 padded handles like I saw someones when I was looking for this leash. I didn't choose the 2 handles leashes only because was not a double layer all over the full length of the leash. This leash is very high quality, even the package is cute.

Update: We purchased two of these leashes about six years ago. We still have those two leashes. They're frayed and show the wear and tear of years of daily use. But both leashes remain strong and functionally as usable as the day we bought them.We particularly like the padded handles. The clips are strong and show no tarnish or damage. None of the seams have failed. Given the quality, these are a terrific value.This leash is very strong and well made, as advertised. We have a couple of large & energetic dogs and the leash is strong enough for training or general use. I did find that the nylon is a bit harsh on one's hand and the edge of the leash when new is just sharp enough abrade or cut one's skin. I found that one should use the leash with care or, for active dog training use the leash wearing gloves. Given this, I'd rank this product as a very high quality nylon leash, and recommend it with the qualification that the user exercise care. The PetLover leash is a good value. However, in using it, I concluded that I prefer well-made, traditional, full-grain leather leashes to nylon - even though a good-quality leather leash costs somewhat more.

I provided 4 stars for this product based on the seller's responsiveness and willingness to address my issue in a very timely manner. I bought two leashes from this seller: one was reflective and one not reflective. The reflective leash, as much as I loved it - it really is solid and looks very nice - had major issues with the buckle/clasp. I would be walking my dog - or simply standing in the foyer getting ready to head outside - and the leash would simply (with no effort at all) come loose from the collar. This happened at least four times within two weeks and was of great concern because I would be absolutely devastated if my dog broke free and ran off. I noticed from reading reviews more thoroughly that this has been a problem for others as well. The leash that is NOT reflective (used for my other dog) thus far has had zero issues with the clasp. That said, I did email the seller about the reflective leash (asking for either a replacement or a refund, whatever would be easiest) and the seller actually refunded me the full amount for BOTH leashes. I'm hoping the issue of the metal buckle/clasp will be remedied at some point because I would - should this be fixed - buy again. The nylon leash itself is fabulous. The seller is professional and responsive.

Fue una muy buena compra porque es muy duradera, no se maltrata facil y aguanta a un perro grande. Llevo mas de un ano con la mia y se sigue viendo bien.

Nos ha durado 6 años, compro otra porque ya está hecha polvo, pero podríamos usarla un tiempo más sin problema.Nuestro perro es un husky de 37 kilos y tira bastante, la correa aguanta muchísimo. Es bastante larga, así que es perfecta para tomar algo de distancia pero sin que se aleje mucho como con las correas extensibles. Las extensibles además con un par de tirones de perros grandes y/o con mucha fortaleza pueden llegar a romperse (me ha pasado), esta aguanta tirones fuertes sin problemas. De hecho compro la misma porque miro en tiendas y no tienen la misma consistencia.

So far great! It seems heavy duty which my serious chewer of a husky with razor sharp sharp molar needs, they can saw through leash in a second. He has destroyed 4 already.

Correa muy resistente

We search for a identical replacement to our previous one of these it's so good. OK so I took the dog in the sea with the other one, and was camping and it's didn't get all the salt washed off. That and having been well used for a year or so for our pulling German Shepherd, we wanted a replacement in an alternative colour. So much so we got one from America!The lead is longer than standard length so the dog gets a chance to sniff in the hedge without us being in there with her. The clip strong, but our first one has twisted slightly, but not surprising the amount it has been used. The cushioned handle is bar far the best bit, kind to your hands, even ones that have been broken.The webbing makes it strong. The colours are bold and bright.Despite having dogs in the family for over 50 years - this is the best leave we've ever had.
