Multi Purpose Magnifying Glass with Fine Point Tweezers and LED Light

While the magnifier and light are good, the very poor tips on the tweezers make this ineffective for all but the largest splinters. First the tips are rather fat and rounded, and the design does not allow you to put good pressure onto grasping. But the biggest problem is the the tips (on mine) do not line up! I think this is a quality assurance issue, not the design. Because they are off by about a millimeter, it makes it very hard (and frustrating) to grasp any really small thing. It's a shame that an otherwise good design is wasted by having suck poorly constructed tweezers.

This was a really cheap alternative to a problem--I cannot read the small print in the newspaper. I hardly ever need the light and the small magnifying surface is just perfect for easy storage.

I used these to assist my poor vision while articulating an ethically sourced bat skeleton. The tweezers were a bit difficult to clamp completely and the magnifier was quite difficult to see through unless I had the bones quite close to the glass, but it really wasn't so bad. In the end, I had a beautiful piece. (:

little to large to use for getting small things out of your fingers like splinters it won't grab them.

although I had to modify alttle bit for my need it's a great tool to have in your hobby tool bag.

thought the tips a little too small.
