I have been taking this for years, it helps prevent symptoms from SIBO/IBS by breaking down your food so the troublesome bacteria in your gut cant break the food down and give you symptoms. Wait for a sale at Whole Foods- it normally will be priced competitively. There are other enzymes on the market that work for SIBO/ low fodmap diet, but none can compete with this price for the amount/quality of enzymes you get. Cheaper options almost always either have less enzymes or are missing some of the enzymes. Take on an empty stomach 5-10 minutes before eating so it can dissolve before you start eating food for best results. But you can take it when your eating and its works too, just not as well :)
