This statue of the Lunar Goddess sitting on a throne is from Dryad Designs and artist Paul Borda. `The Lunar Goddess sits on her throne, which is graced with the phases of the moon. She is crowned with the horned crescent. In her lap she cradles a scrying bowl representing receptivity, intuition and the magical womb of transformation. On her right side a rabbit looks on, her emblem of life, fertility and new beginnings. On her left the crow cries out as her messenger, symbolic of the waning years of life and the ultimate passing from this life into the next. The back of her throne depicts the Goddess in her three aspects as Maiden, Mother and Crone.` It is a cold cast resin replica of the original, which took over 300 hours to complete. The statue stands 8 inches tall, is 3 inches deep, and is 3 inches wide. It is finished to give it the appearance of carved wood. The detail on the piece is incredible. It makes a great gift for family and friends.
