How long do the blocks stay good for when in the fridge?

I kept them in the freezer and I bought a bag every few weeks but I believe there good for a long time the ingredients are mostly nuts. Hope that answers your question ~Christa~

My squirrel won’t eat them why?

Check the bag for funny smell. If you are feeding pet squirrels. You are introducing a new food so it will take awhile for them to eat it.

Why does the packing say “made with peanuts” but peanuts are not listed on the ingredient list?

My pet squirrel wouldn't eat these bites. I kept them in the freezer for quite awhile hoping she would get older and like them, but not the case. She didn't ever want them under a year old or up to 4 years old. I threw the bag out in the yard for the wild squirrel and they didn't eat them. They molded out there and never got ate. So I threw over $20 out the door.

Are these a good option for weaning a handreared field mouse???

Typically I soak Cheerios in the formula to start with when weaning baby mice. I do use Henry’s for all rodents though once weaned.

Squirrels love Henry's!

I am a rehabber and buy these every year during baby season. The squirrels love them and they have all the nutrients and calcium they need to prevent metabolic bone disease. Love this product

Wild bites

The media could not be loaded. I had two baby squirrels that fell out of a tree at a day or two old. I hand fed them and raised them until their release. They are now living outside but still come around for treats. I raised them on Henry’s Healthy Blocks but now I purchase these Henry’s Wild Bites for them and they love them!

I try and I try

I gave a 5 star review bc the product IS fresh and made with healthy ingredients for a balanced squirrel diet.HOWEVER for 15yrs niw 99% of all rescue baby squirrels never ever want it. Grrrr. It gets wasted or freezer burn over time.I want it to work so bad for dietary convenience but it never ever works for me. I can only think perhaps I spoiled them with fresh daily prepped veges, seed and filberts (the healthiest for them of all nuts to choose from)I just don't understand unless a squirrel is absolutely famished maybe he'll eat it but I can't do that everyday to find out

Arrived in good condition

I rescued a baby squirrel which appears to be about 6-7 weeks old. After bottle feeding the first week with some special milk formula and giving small pieces of fruits and veggies , I ordered these Henry's bites and received them in fresh condition. "Murphy" loves the food. It's the only food when given to him that he will snatch it up and go hide in the back of his cage to eat it. If I try to touch him while he has the food in his hands he will sort of "growl" at me saying "leave me alone to eat my Henry Bite". I will purchase these again.

Poor shelf life Molded quickly

Bought recommended by other squirrel lovers, but squirrels didn't want to eat them. Within a week they molded and had to throw it out. Will not buy again.
