I have a $300 system from an Israeli company that worked really well. It finally died, and I got this just to see how well it worked. It’s almost on par with that expensive system! Not quite, but it does work. The other one combined RF and electrolysis with the IPL function, so it was more thorough, but for 1/6 the price, this is really worth it. Not sure how many pulses the flash bulb will really emit, as 999,999 seems like a stretch.

Wonderful little product! Does exactly what it says. Only been using for a week and already notice that regrowth is going away. Very easy to use. The cooling head is ahhhh-mazing!!!! 10/10 would buy again.

This is overall a descent IPL, though I'm not sure yet how well it works in removing hair. I assume it will, but typically some areas can take a while to completely clear. It's easy to hold and operate. What I don't like about this unit is how slow it is to charge up so if you are using another IPL to affect large areas and switch to this you can expect the same operation on same area to take longer.As a side note to others using IPL based on some reviews I have read, be patient. Some areas for some people will take longer to clear, as in weeks or months, but if you are willing to stick with it and do it right the area will eventually clear. Also don't worry about how many charges a unit has. All of them after a while will become unusable with many charges left. For example, you start IPL therapy on an area at level 5 and typically after about 2-250,000 discharges the unit's lamp will produce so much heat that at level 3 will be hard to tolerate so you will end up getting a different unit.

It has a flash indicator that starts at 999,999 the problem is that in the first one thousand the indicator jumped down to somewhere just over 500,000. I got so frustrated.

Very sleek design and the bonus cooling piece is wonderful. I can use the cooling head for soothing an injury I had as well.

I was skeptical, but at this price point it was worth a shot. After one use, I've noticed my hair growth has slowed down. Shaving once a day before, needing to shave every three days now.

I'm hoping that the indicator is out of whack and the machine doesn't quit according to the readout. the recycle time on the pulses can lag a bit. not too bad but sometimes it dies freeze up for a moment. for the money I think you can't go wrong. none if the specs I have read address the pulse frequency. I suppose a faster cycle is what you get when you pay 6 x ad much. I would buy it again
