Organic Thanksgiving Day Spread for Dogs
No, I didn't eat a Chewmasters dog treat myself, but when I stuck my head in this 2 lbs. bag, the complex smells evoked Thanksgiving dinner. Sourced from wholly organic ingredients, turkey and chicken join cranberries, sweet potatoes, and a buffet of other "Superfoods" to create a nutritionally elite, much-craved pet treat. The jerky strips are dense, pliable, and chewy -- an attractive moisture content of 21% enables these to be torn into bites for large and small canines alike. We're taught by veterinarians to source dog foods in which at least the first two ingredients are proteins, and Organic Turkey and Organic Chicken check that box.A wonderfully conceived, wholesome dog treat of attractively limited ingredients, and at this low price, a great value for two pounds of them. - (Was this of use? If so, let me know by clicking, "Helpful." Cheers!)

Organic treat that my dog loves.
I am careful about the type of treats my dog receives. I want them to be Organic, and use good ingredients. These treats fit the requirement, for me. I break the strips into smaller 2" pieces and she looks forward to her treat at bedtime or other times during the day when she deserves something special. I have used this brand for the 2 years that I have had her and she loves them.

Your dog will love you....
My huskies go wild whenever this product arrives at my doorstep! They adore the treats so much that they'll do anything for another one. It's become their favorite reward and has made training a breeze.

Lot of crumbs at bottoms of bag
The doggoes loved these, but I was shocked at the volume of crumbs at the bottom of the bag—over 4 ounces in a 2-pound bag. So I mixed all the crumbs with about 3 tablespoons of coconut oil, pressed the “dough” into some treat molds (Kong molds were perfect), and froze them. Refrigeration would have probably been sufficient as that is how I am storing them. And the doggoes loved them! Now I can still save money on 2 pounds of organic treats and not throw away an eighth of the bag that is crumbs.

Stale.
These treats usually are great for our dogs. We bought two bags in our recent order. Both bags have treats that are stale and hard as rocks. My dogs can’t chew them. Huge disappointment.

If Dogs Had Thumbs...
... these would get a universal thumbs-up. I liked living with them, too -- they're pleasantly soft and easy to break up, tidy to use, and smell mostly of molasses to my human nose.I hand out jerky treats once a day, as the dogs' equivalent of morning coffee, so a big bag like this lasts awhile. Normally, by the time a bag runs out, we are all ready to move on to the next treat in the lineup. But we were all sorry to see this treat come to an end -- the dogs were just as enthusiastic over the last few crumbs as they were about the first taste. And US-made and organic to boot! These really earn their 5 stars.

Poor quality
We order this product every other month for our dogs because they love them. Well the last two bags have been dried out and very hard to break.

Easily digestible
I like this brand. I have gotten it at Costco before but it is a hit and miss situation. I like this because it is pliable, it’s easy for the dogs to eat even if they don’t have the best dental care, and then ingredients are what I am looking for since I have a schnauzer that is prone to pancreatitis. It is very good for sensitive stomach dogs
