A little goes a long way... made my face slightly oily
Although I am young, I am starting to notice fine wrinkles forming and they are freaking me out. I have done some research and have heard good things about Vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid. When it comes to skin care, it is good to start young so I wanted to give it a shot. I have used it for about a month and here are my thoughts....Pros:-no smell and clear-a little goes a long way and this bottle will last a while-added Hyaluronic acid and Vitamin E-climate pledge friendly!-no residue and absorbed fast-slight reduction in fine lines but extremely hard to tell if there was any differenceCons:-my mixed skin got really oil about 2 hrs after and I had to wash my face-not sure if there was any difference

Light and not sticky
I've recently switched from facial creams to serums, because they're lighter. I like the feel of this serum and it smooths on well. I don't look for miracles in facial products -- surgery is the only solution! -- so I just want something that goes on easily and doesn't feel sticky.

Seems to work like other brands
I’ve been using various brands of vitamin C serum for months, and I’ve been amazed at how well they work. The question is, which brand of vitamin C serum should you buy?My previous use of other brands makes it hard to evaluate this brand; since my skin was already so improved from previous treatments with other brands, there wasn’t much more room for improvement. My cheeks retained the youthful rosy blush they recently regained thanks to other serums, and my skin continues to look and feel smooth and supple. My dark spots were already very faded when I started using this, so it’s hard to see if there’s any additional fading. I wondered if maybe some spots were getting ever so slightly darker in the week I used this, but I probably thought that because I was paying such close attention to them, trying to see a difference. Any differences were so subtle it’s really impossible to tell.I put this serum on after I shower, so the humidity in the bathroom gives me a chance to spread it around before it dries out. It goes on easily, looking invisible and matte, not shiny, seeming to completely disappear. It’s not at all greasy. Some other brands are thicker and syrupy, and some are watery. This is about in the middle. This brand is in a dark brown glass bottle. Vitamin C can be damaged by light, so the brown bottle is good at protecting the serum from light, but it just sits in my dark bathroom cabinet almost all the time so it doesn’t really matter. This serum has a very subtle scent, not a perfume, more like the natural scents of the various botanical extracts. I like this much better than some other brands that have strong perfumes.Maybe most importantly, this serum doesn’t specify that it’s 20% vitamin C like many other brands do. I don’t know exactly how much vitamin C is in it. However, vitamin C is third on the ingredients list, so it probably has a good high amount. Some other brands (that I knew better than to order) have vitamin C so low on the ingredients list, they shouldn’t even call it a vitamin C serum. So, this is probably a pretty good serum, similar to others, and with the annoyingly strong perfume some other brands have.

Does seem to soothe and hydrate my skin. No percentage of vitamin C listed is suspect though.
I've experimented with scores of skin products over the years and have come to the conclusion that a high price does not guarantee effectiveness or results, but more often is simply a marketing ploy to give a tiny bottle of fluid or creme an imaginary mystical panache to merely separate your hard earned dollars from your wallet. I believe glowing and healthy skin is much more the result of feeding and building skin with the right nutrients from the inside out, derived from a nutritious diet, stress control, avoiding damaging sun rays and getting sufficient sleep. As for external skin care, a simple cleansing agent, as in real soap, gentle periodic exfoliation, a mild blotting of witch hazel. Science indicates that the only external applications that can have a positive influence on the skin's structure are derivatives of vitamin A and vitamin C. This product is a vitamin C serum with a few other ingredients that I believe have subtle benefits. Like aloe vera which is soothing and mitigates damage from heat and burns, and Hyaluronic Acid that attracts water and so can plump your skin somewhat. I've used this serum only a short time but it does seem to have a positive effect at least cosmetically. vitamin c is of course acidic and many products will list the percentage or concentration of vitamin C contained in it. This serum does not and also I feel zero tingle which even a mild concentration usually generates. I fear that the cosmetic effect it generates might not be anything structural, as in building collagen, but primality the plumping of the Hyaluronic Acid and soothing of the Aloe. Another factor with vitamin C is that it is fragile and its effects deteriorate rapidly when exposed to oxygen or heat. I will continue to experiment with other products more transparent about the real content in its ingredients and concentrations. I've also resorted to making my own serum with ascorbic acid using simple formulas readily available, with good results that I believe might be making more real changes to my skin itself rather that just the outer surface appearance. So for now, I give it a qualified recommendation with 4 stars based on giving my skin a more even, hydrated appearance.

Minimal scent and perfect for men and women.
Well packaged in a brown glass bottle with medicine dropper lid. Easily smooths on and can be used after toning and before moisturizing for best results. The benefits of hyaluronic acid are well described but can be lost if you don't properly moisturize afterward. A drop or two for each side of the face is sufficient so this small bottle will last at least a month or two.
