great tasting lotus tea!
Lotus tea is in a category all unto itself. A soft, subtle fragrance and flavor, unique from any other. I brew it along with red rooibos tea for a nice tasting, healthy, non-caffeinated drink in the afternoon or evening. You don't get a ton of tea in these packets, but a little goes a long way if you're using a tea-ball infuser. The dry leaves expand hugely after brewing in hot water. Give it a try. I first tried lotus tea when I lived in Vietnam for a few months. It was available in tea bags over there, and you can buy it that way here too. You get a little more bang for your buck if you buy this tea loose, and spoon it into an infuser.

The real thing!
I'm so glad to see more Vietnamese teas showing up, especially types like this one. This is the real thing not scented with fragrance but genuinely lotus scented with a fine quality tea base. I have had this hot and iced and love it both ways. Do not over-steep as the lotus fragrance is delicate as is the tea. Wouldn't go over a couple minutes with water around 190. Able to steep multiple times if treated delicately. Used to be hard to find here. It's a treat.

This is the real deal. Amazing tea.
A little goes a long way. You can smell the lotus and leaves little bit anise after taste. Amazing tea. If you're looking for authentic lotus green tea, this is it. I think it took two weeks from time of order. Not bad seeing it's imported from vietnam. I am having a cup as I write this. The aroma is amazing.

This tea tastes like anise.
Make sure you intend to buy this anise flavored tea and not a regular green tea from Thailand!

Delicious authentic lotus flavored tea
I feel lucky to have had a Vietnamese friend give me some Vietnamese lotus tea. Lotus tea is especially delicious with fatty foods like duck and crab in garlic butter sauce. This vendor’s lotus flavored tea is delicious and authentic, as delicious as my friend’s gift of tea.

Disappointed!!
I was stoked when seeing Vietnamese lotus tea on Amazon, and I didn’t mind about waiting for few weeks; though it’s quite disappointed. I am sorry to give it 2 stars. It seems too much flavored was added, it’s overpowering. It’s not a pleasant lotus scent, but it’s like drinking strong essential oil, artificial flavor tea. I miss dearly lotus tea, and I wish I could have given this 5 stars.
