Hot shot bug killer sticks
Reading all comments , giggling to myself , these do not stop bugs from coming in , they don’t like it after awhile , these are killing bugs in an area , I have never put them in my house . I’ve used in my boats , as well campers and garages , cellars and attics . If you are inside it , like any bug killer chemicals , you air out the area . Before being in that area . You should not inhale any bug killer chemical. You will become sick and do not be in a closed area with these. Or any bug chemical . As well animals or children . I’ve used these sence they came out , beats bombing every month . No messes . But one is not gonna work in a huge area , I’d advise , 1 per 10x10 room . In closed up for 24 hours , at least . Then air out area . If you are inside use of the room .

Excellent
Work well to eliminate gnats, as we keep ripe fruit available in our kitchen rather than less healthy snacks.

All The Flying Insects And Gnats All GONE!!
The Hot Shot No-Pest Strip 2 That I ordered is TOTALLY AWESOME!! My fiancée put them up in the house and you could actually 'see the difference' in the house in 2 days time. Some were still present, but you didn't see quite as many insects flying around as it was before he put up the no-pest strips. You can't hardly tell now that the insects were even in the house to begin with. All the flying insects and gnats are ALL GONE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hot Shot No-Pest Strip 2 to anyone who has a problem with flying gnats or other insects in the home.

Excellent
Two in my garage and one in my shed are very effective. The only bugs I see are dead ones and I don't think they are dying of old age or lack of food.

A good buy
This is a very effective product in unventilated spaces and excellent value for claims of 4 months continuous protection. I can't yet comment on the duration. Entering the area and/or ventilating will limit effectiveness and encourage outbreaks of hardcore infestations so be sure to allow build up of vapour in non-ventilated space whenever you are absent. If you are occupying the area, seal strips in an airtight bag/container and fully ventilate space whilst you are there (exposure to pesticides is really not good for you}. If you feel the need to allow some ventilation in your absence (stationary caravans for example can get very hot which makes some infestations worse, then you may need an extra strip near to the outlet in order to fill the entire space with sufficient insecticidal vapour and avoid compromising effectiveness. I am relieved to have discovered them - some types of infestations can be a misery to manage. If you already have an established infestation then you will likely need to treat it with a topical application and then use the pest strips to control and prevent major recurrence. Be warned there will be a duty charge as they are imported from USA.

Kills Bugs
In the spring, I sometimes have an infestation. It's like the bugs have to set up housekeeping at the beginning of the season and I can't always tell how they are getting in the house. I have hung one of these in the bathroom at the beginning of May for years and it effectively takes care of the first rush of insects. After that, I have no trouble at all. It can't be suspended near food or in a room that is constantly occupied, but in a room that gets occasional use, these things are a lifesaver.
