Grumbacher Academy Watercolor Paint, 7.5ml/0.25 Ounce, Ultramarine Blue (A219)

Love the colors in this paint line. They are richly pigmented and translucent. I haven't used professional quality paints, but these are the best student paints I've tried so far.

Beautiful hue with consistent hue, no gritty flakes. Mixes perfectly with reds for perfect purples, and even greens (despite indigo being red biased!). Perfect for mountain ranges or adding depth into any painting. Will be buying this again!

Rich color. Nice texture. Very close to cerillian or pthalo

This is the best cobalt blue hue of all. If you do a lot of water and sky scenes it blends in beautifullywith turquoise and cerulean blue.

This purple is vibrant and mixes well with other watercolor brands. This watercolor activates again with water after its dried on a palette. The only thing I don't like about this watercolor is that it's chalky and some what rough when it's dry.

Love the Grumbacher brand of paints. High quality at a fair price.
