CloverNeedlecraft 6550 Amour Crochet Hook, 12 mm

I was worried when I felt how lightweight the hook is, but after using it for 6+ hours a day for a week or so I realized how wrong I was! The light weight is so beneficial for longer crocheting sessions, and really helps relieve/prevent strain. Very happy.

Guess I just didn't realize how big this thing really was! It's the right size I need, but wow is it bulky. Despite that it feels great. Haven't used it yet, waiting on the yarn, but it's not heavy at all and it has a nice finish on it that makes it soft without feeling like it will slip out of my fingers. It's not heavy at all, either. Not like metal would be.Excited to use this for blankets!

Clover Amour crochet hooks are the best I have found so far! They are soft and comfortable to hold. The tapered hook end easily and perfectly slides through yarn stitches. The straight hook section makes for easy and consistent stitch formation. I prefer the metal hook ends on the smaller sizes, but the ABS resin in the larger sizes does keep them very lightweight so I am still very happy with using them!

Comfortable to hold, yarn slides easily, large size perfect for bulky Bernat Blanket yarn! Would recommend this crochet hook for anyone who loves to crochet!

I have used every type of crochet hook made and have this one in two sizes. It is absolutely a cut above all the rest. Easy to hold, glides easily through your project. I fly along using this hook.

So happy I splurged and got this, working on a big project and felt it was worth investing in this particular crochet hook. The color is pretty and overall it’s held up very well in the 4mo I’ve owned it!

This crochet hook was bought for my Grandddaughter, so obviously cannot answer the question,Probably will be useful to her, but I thought the price of this was extortionate, and will be carefulnot to use this site again.

I love Amour crochet hooks, I do a lot of crochet and even blog about crochet at www.inspiringcrochet.wordpress.com . I have a medical condition which means especially in the winter, I can suffer cramps and pains in my hands, if I am not careful. When I use amour hooks, my hands are always fine to crochet. The handle is lovely and soft and the polymer hook is great. I started off using a bamboo 12 mm hook, which really hurt my hands a lot. I bought this to use with t-shirt yarn and it does a great job. I also crocheted more quickly and neatly with the amour hook, (which incidentally I find with all the sizes of amour hook I have) You will not be disappointed to buy an amour hook. It's worth the extra money. :-)

I have used lots of different hooks over the years and suffer from joint pains quite severely at times which can be irritated by the repetition of crochet but the clover hooks really do glide a more smoothly and the handle of the hooks is very comfy to hold. I have gone back to using a metal hook to teach my daughters how to do a few stitches and I could tell the difference straight away

Lovely comfortable hook to use with some very thick yarn. I certainly won’t hesitate to buy more Clover amour hooks when I need to replace some of my older ones. I would like them to be cheaper but then I suppose you pay for comfort in use.

Lovely crochet hook. I have already ordered 2 more in other large sizes. Very smooth to crochet with. Very speedy delivery too.
