This Fine Art Jigsaw puzzle features artwork by Pierre Auguste Renoir. The Laurel Ink series of Fine Art Puzzles are packaged in over-sized, record album-sized boxes with an excellent representation of the contained puzzle. Large puzzle measures: 18" x 24", contains 500 pieces . The Fine Art Series puzzles feature irregular shapes and spherical axes, rather than a straight X and Y axis pattern as seen by most manufacturers. You can expect to spend a half-dozen hours assembling one of these fun puzzles. The puzzle board is very high quality and the pieces are fully die cut. The art reproduction is excellent and you can actually marvel at the brushwork as you assemble the puzzle! On the back of the box there is a brief history of the artist and a discussion of the featured painting.

Difficult
A bit too difficult, even for adults. The quality is good: pieces have enough weight that they don't bend with use. Size is off by 1/4". We usually do puzzles in a plastic picture frame. This should have fit in it, but was just a bit too large.. Picture is darker than pictured here, more brown in it and lacking the soft true yellow.

good for the amateur painter
This puzzle piece has a very fantastic shape. It seems more difficult than ordinary shape, but it doesn't. It's more interesting for me. But someone don't like it, I guess. So I don't give star 5.Color and print are very good.It gives you a time to face the great painter, and you may find a new aspect of seeing paint. This puzzle is not only a pastime but also enjoying art.I recommend this for the amateur painter to know the detail of masterpiece.
