Great quality and value
Great quality and value! The tea made from these hibiscus petals is very flavorful (tart!) and has amazing color and scent.Would highly recommend, although know that these aren't whole flowers per se, but whole petals from the flowers. You will probably need to crunch them up a bit with a mortar & pestle to make tea, although I have not tried just throwing some petals straight into the hot water. That may work too, but I imagine it's better to crunch first for more surface area and to release the goodness from within the petals.

Not large pieces
The quality is high and it makes great Jamaica tea, but I searched specifically for whole flower and while this is not cut and sifted, it in no way resembles the image of whole product. I've been using daily and have yet to pull a whole flower calix out of the bag. The pieces are pretty small. Disappointing as I had a special purpose and need for whole. However the quality is high, so giving it 4 stars.

This is the real deal. Real hibiscus. Very inexpensive
These hibiscus flowers were beautiful. Fragrant. Packaged extremely well. No filler no garbage. Meaning no leaves stems or sticks. Just actual dried hibiscus flowers. They were very very inexpensive. And they make the best hibiscus tea I've ever had. Also they were dried so thoroughly and so well, I'm thinking about putting them in a spice grinder and turning them into powder. I highly recommend this product

I would rather give this a 2. 5. ...
I would rather give this a 2.5. I first tried dried hibiscus flowers in Israel where they are chewy and delicious, even as is. When I made a cup of tea with the Israeli version the tea was delicious and the WHOLE flowers were yummy to eat at the end of the cup - and no sugar needed. So I was quite disappionted when I ordered and found these flower petals all dried up. They didn't rehydrate to a yummy chewy treat after soaking in hot water either. So disappointing 😞I also ordered this brand because it was Kosher. The flavor is OK - a bit too sour. I wish I could find a kosher source for the kind of dried Hibiscus that we bought at the shuk in Jerusalem.

Another new repeat customer.
I just received my first order of Hibiscus Flower Petals and am extremely pleased. I was a little concerned due to some other reviews, however, these dried hibiscus flowers are beautiful, fragrant. They are packaged extremely well and, so far, I have not seen any leaves stems or sticks, only the dried flowers so their quality control is working. I don't expect perfection in something like this, but this came pretty close! Well done Starwest! BTW - I am just a woman working to improve her blood pressure, I have no attachment to Starwest but I will be looking at all their products now.
