SperryLeeward 2 Eye Boat Shoe

Here is another good American brand that went to the Far East to make their millions. These are the filmiest boat shoes that are out there. No structure, no arch, cheap laces, and who knows what kind of leather they're made from. Oh and FYI these are made in a country that are holding our POW's, just saying. It would be nice if these companies would tell us (yes the customers) where these products where made...Just my 2 cents. Peace

They did not fit, even though they were labeled as the same size as the ones I am currently wearing - I could not get my foot into them. Also, the quality seemed to be poorer - it almost seemed like they were a knock-off shoe not actually made by Sperry, although I cannot prove that. Good thing I could return them easily

I was cheated by Amazon. I came back from a long trip and found out that neither color or model are as ordered. My wife did not notice model change. Color is oatmeal, construction and lettering is different, more simple, plain and cheap looking, it's same with the leather itself, plain, even with scratches, looks like cheap work shoe, not the boat shoe, but return window is closed and I am stuck with something that has to go to garbage. This is not the pictured Sahara model, it also made in different country (Bangladesh) and altogether it looks to me as a book example of conscious "bite and switch" cheating of customers!

Delivery is a WOW. .. .From Maryland to my door in 3 days ! The product is well worth the price. I'll be buying these again.. perhaps a different style. On my funky.. I will only buy clothing or shoes that are 'VERY' comfortable.. and have a class look... which narrows the field considerably.. The shoes are perfect for my perfunky taste !..UPDATE: 1-27-2019- Shoes are perfect in every sense of the word. The upside is, the product and delivery was without flaw. The downside is, Amazon now charges sales tax for every sale and most retailers in my area are offering Veterans like myself a discount which usually equals the sales tax and a bit more. .So, no great deal here. Shop local if you're a Veteran and support our country!

where do i even start? i dont really have THAT wide of feet but i find wider all leather shoes are a smarter buy for me 90% of time. that being said there is NO WAY anyone who really needs wide would be able to handle these. ive had them on for about 30 minutes and i think im losing feeling in my toes!ya, so as for the rest. the soles....CHEAP really cut ratethe price... see above issues.. nuff saidthis ones FAIL boys and girls

Fits as expected, my feet are smaller (size 7) and Sperry Top Sider is one of the few quality brands I can get that makes true to size shoes. The traction is a little slippery, so keep that in mind if you work anywhere where the surfaces are slippery or dusty (I manage a pizza restaurant, I've had a few near misses in these shoes). I expected that, these aren't athletic nor skate shoes, they're boat shoes meant for a preppy look and lifestyle. Nevertheless, they're comfortable shoes, and I am on my feet about 8 hours a day 4 days per week.As for how to match these with an outfit, I reccomend wearing them with darker colored skinny jeans, lighter colored belt, and a fitted shirt. Depending on climate, a cardigan can be added or skinny jeans swapped for darker colored shorts.

Ouch, regrettable purchase. I have been wearing top siders for decades and love them. These black nubuk ones not so much. They are very tight, outright difficult to get on, and the color bleeds! I wore them for a few hours in dry weather today with the thinnest Sperry socks, and the formerly white socks are as black as the shoes now.

The leather this shoe is made with is 1/3 as thick as the leather Sperry used to make boat shoes with causing the back of the shoe to fold when I walk in them.. Very disappointed and will buy from other companies from now on. Sent these and another pair of Sperry shoes back because of this. This is a good time for those in Vietnam (where Sperry shoes are made) to come here and start a shoe company making shoes the way they're supposed to be made. They do however look good and fit right.
