These are very solid scissors, with thicker steel than you'd expect. Grip feels nice, and they're fairly compact. Replaced 3 other sets of scissors in my tool box. Scary sharp, cuts like a dream, although I'm using them for stuff like heatshrink and zipties, I love em.

Very sharp, used with thin Kevlar cord to sew up heavy canvas seems. Good size for medium sized hand, comfortable to use. Good value for what it does!

So far excellent in cutting up to 300# kevlar cord (heaviest I have). Looks like they'll last; if so, I'd give the full five stars.

I ordered these scissors as a tool to help me splice Amsteel rope. I had previously tried a sharp regular knife, a ceramic knife, two different types of scissors and a utility knife. All of the other edges required hacking, slicing and pressure resulting in sloppy cuts and frayed edges. These scissors work like a champ. It cuts through Amsteel like a sheet of paper. No repeated slicing or need for added pressure, just a good clean cut. Using Amsteel to rig my sailboat, many cuts are needed. These scissors cut (no pun intended) the time needed significantly. The first couple of dozen cuts made the purchase more than worthwhile. I get to spend more time actually splicing and less time hacking away with inferior tools.

I had been looking for a solid effective pair of scissors for metal cutting. I tried several other Kevlar cutters until an industry contact of mine recommended Vampire Tools. I quickly became a fan. I particularly enjoy the handle design, the openings are comfortable, doesn't bite into skin, and allows for great maneuverability. The blade is definitely durable and effective. I have been using my pair for years, and it is basically as effective as it is when I first purchased this. I just bought another pair as a gift for a friend of mine. I'm excited and looking forward to trying other Vampire Tools.

As described these cut Kevlar perfectly. Trying to cut a material like Kevlar cleanly is a tough job but with the correct pair of sheers (like these) it is a job made easy. I am making clean and precise cuts over and over. I highly recommend these sheers if you are cutting a material like Kevlar.

Great set of scissors, 1st thing I did was cut a 24 strand fiber line. Cut was easy and true. Then for fun pulled out the kevlar to give t a cut.....like butter. Cut so easy and clean every time. There aren’t for cutting anything heavy duty but amazing fiber scissors.

Really just a pair of scissors. Nothing special about them that makes them cut Kevlar any better. Better quality than the average cheap Chinesium junk knock offs, but still just a pair of scissors.
