Rive Gauche By Yves Saint Laurent For Women. Eau De Toilette Spray 3.3 Oz Multi

This was a fabulous fragrance when it came on the scene in the early 70’s. However, since then, other companies created cheaper versions under different names, so that decades later, it just smells like a drugstore brand. I paid an exorbitant amount so I’m keeping it and will use it as an everyday scent.

Had not found this fragrance in years...but to be honest I hadn't really looked. Was glad to find it on Amazon and am not disappointed. Would recommend to anyone who remembers this light scent or who wants to try a 'new' fragrance that isn't overpowering. It will seem a little strong when you first spray it on, but soon lessens then stays for hours.

This was not the scent it should have been. The packaging looked right, but it smelled sour. Of course I tried to return it, but there are no returns on perfumes.

I bought it in Amsterdam, as a 16th birthday & high school grad for ME. The long lasting crisp, flowery fragrance is fresh & invigorating.I'm in my mid 50s, wearing It has always made me feel independent, confident & in control--it was the first perfume I chose and liked on MY own...before that, the only perfumes I knew were my mum's.It's unique scent sets you apart.

I have always loved Rive Gauche. Its a classic French fragrance though not always available for purchase these days. Loved that I found it. Just as wonderful as ever.

I was going to give this product a three only because it's not quite the scent that I remember. It's close. But there's a slight difference somehow. Also It seems wetter unlike the original which seemed more of a powdery, dryer mist. Anyways I decided to give it a four instead of three only because the fragrance is still nice and long-lasting. I would give it as a gift to someone who hadn't known the original. I'm sure they'd like it.
