I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these brushes--especially given the price. I purchased them along with a watercolor paint set and have gotten a good deal of use out of them. The varying widths and bristles allows me the opportunity to play around with different effects. I have found these to be easy to clean and maintain. Overall, I was very happy with this purchase.

I mostly use watercolors or acrylics, and am fairly new to the world of painting. I like to have a wide range of brushes to choose from, depending on the look I want to achieve (and my mood at the time). I’m still learning how to make the most of each brush.This is a decent set of 6 nylon brushes, offering a range of sizes and styles. It includes:* 0 - Round* 0 - Flat* 2 - Filbert* 4 – Slant* 6 – Filbert* 9 – FlatI have limited experience with natural hair brushes, but it does seem like nylon brushes are easier to clean. I’ve found that they perform just fine for a beginner like me, and they’re much less expensive. The ferrule on these brushes is crimped down near the brush, as well as near the handle. I haven’t had a problem with loose bristles, and I’ve found that the brushes hold the paint nicely. The handle is smooth, making for a comfortable grip. These brushes have shorter handles (about pencil length), which I find easier to control. I don’t know how well they’d clean up with oil, but the acrylic and watercolor paints wash right off.Also included in this set is a gray soft-leaded sketching pencil. It’s a nice weight for me and I’ve already used it quite a bit. And there’s also a small sponge that can be used for applying face paint, for blending and shading effects, or for blotting up excess color.This is a nice basic set for beginners who want to hone their craft a bit before investing in much more expensive brushes.

Not worth buying unless for simple crafts where small brushes are required.

I bought these for a school party where we face painted 80 kids. These were very easy to use. The bristles are just right. It is hard to face paint when the bristles are super floppy.

One of the brush, the one with the finest tip, was broken at the metal part when it arrived.

Not a good collection.. Arrived to late.

Have used to water color paint. Performed great. Love the length. Would loved to see a larger round brush included in the set also!

UPDATE: Seller emailed me to be sure all was good. Explained about the damaged brush and they are sending me a new one. No hassles, very easy. Would definitely recommend this seller!Most were good. Disappointed that the thin brush has part of the bristles that stick out to the side so I cannot use it. Other than that, they worked well this past weekend when I used them. If I had known about the thin brush before my event I would have returned them.
