After 8 years it's still working
Great value when i purchased it in 2016. After 8 years it still holds a charge and recharges like it was new.

Better, longer-lasting than the OEM EN-EL 14
Originally, I was looking to purchase one of those off-brand batteries, however, after reading several reviews about how they go bad for no reason, I decided to purchase a Nikon-branded battery.I have to admit that I was a little skeptical when I saw that it was a higher-capacity battery than the original EN-EL14 battery that came with my Nikon D5200. I even purchased a second EN-EL14 battery shortly after my camera purchase. Though I can't complain too much about the battery life of the original batteries, I can sing high praises to the EN-EL 14A battery.With the original batteries, I could possibly take up to 300 pics before the battery indicator went red. With the 14A, I took over 300 pictures and about 20 minutes of video before the battery indicator lost its first "bar." The conditions were at a family reunion where I was taking photos in mixed lighting. About half my photos used the built-in flash.I definitely recommend this battery and am no longer skeptical of the high-capacity claim.Note: You'll need to upgrade the firmware on the battery to get the "extended" battery life.https://nikoneurope-en.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/59454

Stick with Nikon products
Bought third party batteries that failed within 1 year. Original battery still working. Bought this one as a back-up.

You get what you pay for?
These are the factory batteries so they work great. I tried some of the other batteries in my camera, the camera would not pick up the battery in the camera, so I had to buy the OEM. Cost of doing business, put the batteries hold a charge. I have two extra batteries to make sure that I have enough juice for a shoot. I even did not receive both of my batteries on the first delivery, I called the company, they did not have a problem, fixing the problem and sending me another battery without all of the hassles that you get from some companies. I will do business with them again, if needed.
