Columbia Sportswear Boy's Silver Ridge II Long Sleeve Tech Tee (Youth)

These are the BEST shirts for boys. I am on my kids' case constantly about keeping covered and UVA/UVB protected, no matter what the weather. Skin cancer rates among young people are growing rapidly, daily. And will continue to do so as the younger generations don't protect, and if parents are unaware. My son wears these shirts every day so he doesn't have to listen to my sun protection speech. They are lightweight, but better protection than any cream or lotion can provide. My son even wears them under his soccer uniform. Awesome shirts. Now if they can just make them "stink" proof.

This "wicking" tee does not wick as well as other we've had. The sleeves are too long in proportion to the fit and have to be hemmed up, which I still have not had time to do. I ordered two of these in different colors = 4 sleeves to hem. An OK wicking shirt, but not for hiking, backpacking or strenuous activity. Definately not worth the price you pay for the name. I would have expected better from Columbia

These fit really wide and are short in the torso. The arms are wide as well, so I guess if you are built that way it's perfect, but they are not for lean people.

Great for our trip to Africa. It was the winter season, so long sleeves were needed some mornings and evenings. Also helped with the equator sun on his fair skin.

Great shirt, good fit. Looks nice & not flimsy but not too heavy. And it passes the 'coolness' test w/ my son too, so a great find all the way around.

My son wore this shirt on a white water rafting/hiking trip on the Colorado River. It was perfect as if provided sun protection, yet dried quickly.
