Nice car, but side mirrors are not to scale.
I measured car to be 4 1/8"L x 1 3/4"W x 1 1/4"H. Both side mirrors are so itty bitty small, like a little stubble of hair. Car is secured by two mini screws on a rectangular base of approx 2 3/4" x 5 3/4", 1/2"H. A clear plastic display cover (2.5"H) firmly fits onto the base, at its bottom. The base front reads: LUXURY die-cast 1:43 Cadillac ConverJ. Front and rear license plates both say LUXURY die cast. Cadillac logos on the front grill and rear trunk are too small to recognize. Display case is inside cardboard box, open on all sides except the rear and bottom face. Real nice display piece. Too bad it's not available in a larger scale. Made in China, with sticker on box dated 01 15 2010.

Good quality for the price
Build quality has improved no end during the 40 years I've been collecting, especially on the smaller 1/43 scale models. This one isn't quite up to the Minichamps / AutoArt level, but for a fraction of the price, it doesn't shame the collection. The doors open without too much loss of scale on the shut lines, and detailing/accuracy is very good. It seems rather large among the other, more classic models in the collection, so either the model isn't correctly to scale, or this is one BIG car. Definitely worth the money.

A preview of things to come.
The first Cadillac electric car concept. One of Bob Lutz's finest hours at GM, and it almost never came to be a real car. Now, with the Cadillac ELR being green lit for production, this toy is set to be not just a cool looking piece of automotive history, but something that really stands out in anyone's diecast collection.

I think this is a great
this has not stood up to his playing with it without a few hiccups, but he is only 6 yrs old and I did not purchase the car to sit on a shelf, so all in all, I think this is a great car
