I was a little concerned when reading some of the reviews - mainly the ones where they said it made their dog sick. As most of the reviewers point out, the cake is very hard. That's understandable given the shelf life. I took the advice of one of the reviewers and heated it up in the microwave before cutting it. That did the trick. It may have been a little pricey, but it was my puppy's first birthday and I wanted to celebrate it. The cake was adorable and plenty big for two dogs. I my puppy and her cousin some of the cake (not all of it) and they loved it! It's been two days and no ill effects. Definitely recommend!

This birthday cake was better than I expected honestly. It is small but what I expected it to be. The 4.5 was the perfect size for my dog as soon as She smelled it she started drooling and mouth foaming. She was ready for her birthday surprise! . It felt hard in my hand but my American Bully who’s missing many teeth was able to break it down in about 20 seconds and she enjoyed every bit of it. Will def be buying again for my puppy’s 1st birthday.

The cake was really cute perfect size for a dog. But I think the prize was not worth it. It was also very hard . I should have went with what they said about the reviews. But now I know for the following year to look better before buying it.

Likes: Made in the USA, petite size, wholesome ingredients. Inside of cake much softer than the icing coating Dislikes: It comes with a candle but the frosting is so hard you need to puncture a hole for it which cracks the cake. A little hard to cut Pups liked the cake.

Smelled so good , like spice / gingerbread cake

As stated by others it is hard as a rock. I shaved some off for my little dog to eat and he was sick for two days. Also it is way too expensive and about 3 in diameter. I want to acknowledge that the company offered me a full refund. It’s appreciated. I will give them another try next year. Maybe we just got a bad biscuit.

Really cute, but the icing was so messily done, and the box arrive with the seal opened which was concerning. It was also SO hard that my German Shepherd mix wasn’t sure how to eat it and ultimately didn’t even have 1 bite after sniffing and licking it for a couple minutes. It was so hard we couldn’t even break it open with our hands without it crumbling into a million pieces.
