International Concepts Dresser with 3 Drawers, Unfinished

This is an excellent dresser. It far exceeded my expectations. It arrived in excellent condition. The box was packed very well. No items were damaged. The hardware is not the greatest but it’s still acceptable. A couple washers were deformed. The rear brace that goes horizontally across the back is about a 1/4 inch short but still works. The brace under each drawer is an excellent feature to keep the bottoms from sagging. Be sure to pre drill when attaching the brace as there are no pre drilled holes. The slides come already attached. However, it is a good idea to unscrew and check them as the wood may have split when assembled at the factory. It’s not too much of a problem to fix by gluing up the splits and using other mounting holes as the bracket has many alternative mounting options. Once assembled it is very sturdy. If wood glue is used during assembly there is absolutely no wobble. Just be sure to square everything up before the glue sets so your gaps are even. However, without glue it is still very sturdy. Overall, for what I paid you can’t go wrong with this dresser. The materials alone would have cost me more to build a sold wood dresser by myself. The wood can be finished any way you want. This is perfect to save time and money while still allowing for customization on the finish. I highly recommend this product based on it’s quality and value.

I love this dresser. I was debating between buying this and a similar one sold by ikea. The ikea one was cheaper but it was never it stock when I checked and with shipping it would have been a similar price. I’m so glad I chose to buy this one! It’s very solid and it was pretty easy to assemble. The drawers are also nice. They pull out most of the way so you can see everything in the drawer. I have a dresser from wayfair that was twice the price and the drawers seem to only pull out about half way. It’s silly.Anyway, I put some clear statin polyurethane on it and I was a little bummed that it changed the color of the dresser. It’s now a little more yellow, but that was totally my fault for not being patient enough to do a small test area first. For reference, I didn’t poly the knobs as I plan on replacing them. This spring I’m probably going to sand it and try again.If you’re down for putting the work into it, this is a great dresser! I love unfinished furniture like this because it’s so customizable!

I was debating between the 4 and 3 drawer dresser from the same line. I decided to pay 70 dollars more for the 4 drawer because it’s depth were incorrectly listed as being larger. I should have paid more attention to the drawer dimensions being that they were identical. The 3 drawer is definitely the better deal but if you need more storage space... I selected this dresser over the ones readily available at ikea bc I wanted this to go in my walk in closet without taking up too much of the space. It matches very well with the birch ikea bed frame that also came unfinished. Assembly was relatively easy, everything aligned without an issue. The directions labeled items by number but the actual parts were not labeled. The third drawer is a little tricky to slide in. I had to use an electric drill but if someone had adequate hand strength they probably could have done without.... it would have taken more time. Wipe down the interior and exterior when finished. A layer of wood dust came off... definitely some off gassing after installation. Items came very well packed and considering how nicely the pieces aligned, I would say I’m content with the quality. It’s actually listed on another furniture webpage, where the 3 drawer dresser cost as much as the 4 drawer dresser on Amazon, so overall I know it’s worth the money. The item though is listed under different brands but identical. I just didn’t like how the item dimensions were listed incorrectly.

I got these specifically because they were made without particle board, which I've had major issues with before. They are as advertised - solid wood and plywood throughout; no warping, holes in all the places that needed them/aligned properly, arrived in a solidly well-packed box with tons of padding to avoid dings and scratches. Easy to put together alone with a screwdriver (I got the 3-drawer version). Lovely, sturdy, easily customizable cabinets!Minor word of warning for anyone like me with poor observational skills - if you can't find the hardware, triple-check while looking for a red plastic bag instead of the smaller, empty box nestled behind the legs of the side panels that looks like it might be where the hardware should be. All the hardware is in a plastic bag and is easily overlooked as packing material if you have it in your head the hardware "should" be in the box, lol... I almost had mine repacked for returning because of missing hardware before I noticed the bag, and it's BRIGHT red with HARDWARE INSIDE printed in all caps. Definitely a d'oh moment, so glad I noticed before the return processed!
