I bought this as a desktop cooler for my home office when it's not quite warm enough to run the window a/c. I am pleasantly surprised by it's performance. Contrary to some other reviews, I have no issues with it's construction. It has surpassed my expectations and HIGHLY recommend it. I can't wait to use it as a tent cooler on my next camping trip. Excellent value at twice the price!!

I initially gave it 4 stars as it worked great..... until it entirely stopped working. ive literally only had this since July. I dont run it non stop, only when needed. and it just started turning itself off after a few seconds today. its not even the end of September. The best part is its literally never been moved since I got it so its not even like anything got bumped. even the light doesn't work on it. the cord works fine i checked it with a different device so the problem is not the cord. waste of money.

Even if ice cubes are put in the tiny little tray. It is still next to useless for expelling cold air.

I was skeptical about how well this would work. It does help add some cooling effect, especially when the filter is frozen and cold water is used. The unit is about arm's length from me when I sleep; I don't know how well it would do at a distance. I use it in conjunction with a regular fan to take the edge of the hot nights.The most significant reservation I have with the unit is that construction is somewhat flimsy. The lid and the vents in the front detach very easily. The lid can be reattaced without much difficulty. The vents are trickier because another gets knocked out in the process. Hopefully, these issues are not an indication of a short lifespan for the unit. I have been using mine about 2 weeks as of this writing.

Has extremely limited impact on cooling down a room. It should never be billed as an air conditioner. That is false and misleading. It is a fan with water

I bought these for my kids to use in their rooms. Works well for the night if you freeze the filter first and add ice water. Nifty product.

The lid broke when first trying to add the water. Trhis shouldn’t have affected the function of it; it just didn’t cool.

Im not a fan of the mess they make if bumped into. But i bought 2 and put them in my kids rooms and they dont get the room cold of course, but they definitely cools it down.
