As a Registered Nurse for the past 20 years, I've actually stayed too long working as a staff nurse when I knew within the first few years of nursing that I'd be opening my own business. But "life happens" and the regularity of receiving an assured paycheck somehow had over-ridden my true desire to become an entrepreneur. Well, no longer. I'm making the jump THIS year! This book has answered most, if not all of the initial questions I'd have in regards to opening a non-medical home care service. I am beyond excited. Today is September 7, 2021 and my estimated date to open is November 30, 2021. I truly believe that I will succeed in this endeavor. I have no doubt that all of my confessions, declarations and visualizations for the success of this business will be honored by the Lord. To Him belongs ALL of the praise. May God bless all of you who are also getting into this industry.

This book is so basic and outdated. It had lines in it like "a website is like the new yellow pages" and tells you to go to Google Places (which changed in 2014 to Google Business Pages). Marketing tips also suggest placing a free ad on Craigslist, lol, and avoiding ads on Facebook because people do go there to find services. First, Craigslist, in most markets, hasn't been "free" to post any type of business or service ad in many years, and posting in the wrong section is the best way to have your ad flagged. Second, Facebook allows you to post ads and target people who may specifically want/need your service. You can even target "widowed" people! I gave it 2 stars because I bet it would have helped out someone in 1990.

This book was very informative, short and to the point. It gives current info, sum how to books are from the dark ages, this is current; price is on point and It's full of plainly written info

This book helped my daughter to begin her own business in a field she was familiar. In just about 2 months, she was able to get started on a career that is lacking in qualified leaders
