Lovely book of poetry, translated. My guests love it in the guest bedroom.

Thankfully I was able to find a complete edition of Li Qingzhao's poems in a bilingual version. The only thing that lacks is the pinyin pronunciation of the poems. I am happy to have this copy of her works.

This is a beautiful book, with the worst attempt at translation I've ever seen. The translations of the Chinese are not into English but into some sort of awkward, illiterate gibberish. Here's an example: In late spring, why you miss your hometown? Being lovesick, I comb to hate my hair long. Flying over the room beam to sing is the busy swallow, A breeze blows roses' fragrance to the curtain-window. I deeply regret this purchase.

Pages are thin but the book is beautiful.
