I often walk my 5 and 7 year old nieces through the instructions and they love this kit! They get so excited about all the colorful papers and the animal options. It’s all very easy to follow.

Havent opened it yet, but got it for an autistic child who can follow any directionsWe enjoy getting her new craft things, she is special needs in more than one way and doesnt have the ability to think creatively or make things up, this has great directions and i think she will be very happy.this set is also not sooooooo advanced that it will be discouraging

Overall very cute kit. However, unless the child has experience it will probably still be difficult and they may need help. Some of the instructions just really weren't for beginners. It would say to do a "valley fold" for example, but does not explain what that is. But still a good place to start if you don't mind youtubing a couple things.

As soon as my grandson unwrapped the origami kit and opened it his eyes got huge! I'm sure he will have a blast with it. He's been making origami with just scraps of paper all year long and now he has a kit to actually show him how. I'm excited it for him.

For my niece at Christmas. She loved it. I was told it was perfect for her.

I had bought the flowers version of this kit for my wedding decorations and loved them, so I was very disappointed in these animals. Very few of them actually look like animals (very vague references to them) & the floral paper doesn't work as animal skin, except for the cranes.

I love all of the Michael LaFosse art. What a wonderful artist.
