Well made, great looking bed at a budget price
I bought this bed for my child and I must say that I am very impressed with the quality, especially for the price. It's solid wood construction held together with nuts and screws to create a very sturdy bed that fully grown adults could sleep in without any worries. It comes with two sets of legs in case you are using a box spring or if you just want it lower for a smaller child to be able to climb into. The slat foundation for the mattress is very sturdy and well built so there really is no need for a box spring. The instructions were extremely easy to follow despite having multiple sets (one for each section and putting the sections together) . If you have more than one person to help assemble, it is helpful but not completely necessary if you are mechanically inclined. I was able to assemble it myself in a little under an hour.

Beautiful, well built, easy to assemble bed. Highly recommend it.
Beautiful wood finishing on this bed. We bought the caramel latte and are very pleased with the lovely light wood finish. It arrived in 3 separate boxes. All the pieces were in each box, and all the hardware was in each box - plus extras. The bed was quick and easy to assemble - it took less than an hour. It's very sturdy. I really like the two separate leg heights that are included. We don't use a box spring, so we really like the taller leg option that lets us use this as a platform bed with just the mattress. Much better quality and finish for the price than anything we saw at brick and mortar furniture stores. I highly recommend these beds and this company (matching nightstands and dresser are same quality and also beautiful).

Sturdy, looks nice, but had some alignment problems.
It took me longer to put together than it should. This is in part because I had the legs on the headboard backward, so once I took those off and put them back on correctly, it wasn't so bad. One of the side boards doesn't slide all the way down into the legs at the foot of the bed. Not sure if it's the leg or the board, but swapping the two side boards seemed to make this slightly better. I thought it was just not going in, but that's just how it sits. This is why I took off a star. It's a cheap bed frame, and details like that are, I guess, not wholly unexpected. It looks weird to me, but it's sturdy. The bottom slats were easy to put together and attach to the sides. I did manage to strip one of the center support legs, but as I hadn't connected that part of the base to the sides yet, I put that one at the head of the bed, which is the part of the bed least likely to be supporting a ton of weight. It should still support just fine, but I felt better NOT having it right under the middle of the bed. The center support legs don't touch the ground when there's nothing on the bed, but they do once a mattress is put on them. Leaving the bedspread untucked covers up any aesthetic issues with the frame, and the bed is high enough with the taller legs (it comes with two sets of legs for the foot and center supports and the headboard legs have two slots for the sides to fit) for me to put stuff under the bed. It took me a few hours to put the frame together, and wasn't particularly difficult, although I agree that the instructions are not always super clear. If you've put together other furniture, though, you should be able to figure it out. One headboard leg had a very tight fit and it was a bit of a challenge to line it up, but that's the only thing that took more physical force than I would prefer (I'm a 35 year old female of no special muscle tone).I got this for my guest room, so it doesn't get daily use, but it was used by a 200+ lb man for a little over two weeks with no issues and he never complained about it not feeling sturdy. When I've sat on the bed in there and tried to shake the bed a bit to see how the frame responded, it feels sturdy. There's been no creaking, and the headboard never even came close to banging on the wall. I think it's solid enough for regular use, and my guest room ends up looking better than my bedroom, since I still have nothing fancier than a basic metal bed frame with box spring under my mattress. I'm happy with it so far. I will have to move in the near future, and I'm not quite sure how well this thing will travel (I'm guessing the headboard and base board will be disconnected from the sides, and the center support legs will be the only thing I'm not sure how to handle, since I'd rather not unscrew them... I suppose they can be turned over if they strip and have a new hole drilled in the bottom? I kept the shorter legs just in case!)

Great for the Guest Room
I bought this to go in a guest room. I also bought a Memory Foam mattress from Amazon, "Brentwood 10" HD Memory Foam Mattress" to go with it.The bed is shipped in 3 cartons and is all wood, not veneer. It is well made, goes together pretty easily, just take your time. I liked that the slats between the rails have legs for added support. It looks Great when finished.I am having guests for the holidays, I will update this review after the new year.***UPdate***Well the holidays have come and gone, my kids come to visit and have spent several nights on the bed since then. If I had 10 stars, I would upgrade it to 10 Stars.Great value on a very sturdy bed.We are very happy. My daughter requested this bed/mattress combo for her birthday.I highly recommend this bed.

Missing parts. so many missing parts....
So the bed itself is actually quite beautiful--really nice quality wood for the frame. the bad??? like a lot of other reviewers--Missing parts--a lot of missing parts--missing dowels, missing bolts, missing instructions...after calling, it will be another week before we get the parts to actually make the bed...Well I guess I'll be sleeping on the floor on my Casper mattress for another week...at least that came on time and with all the right parts!
