seriously?
pro: very strong.con: the images imply that the spout is flexible. it isn't. because it's rigid it won't fit all the way inside the can, making a tight seal impossible. ironically, amazon shows a flexible replacement hose with this gas can for $13. the enclosed photo shows how the hose collar fits now.solutions: heat the hose and bend it to fit; buy a replacement hose that's flexible; cut the hose 3" shorter; or return the fuquer.the description offers satisfaction and customer service for any problems, but there's no brand name or contact numbers so i guess i'd have to be psychic.

A fair review
I saw the comments about the spout being too long and the U bolts being too long, but I went for it anyway and encountered the same problems. The U bolts that came with the mount were so long, they protruded out the top and made it impossible for the gas can to actually sit flush on the mount like it’s supposed to, which made it impossible to tighten it down. I ditched the bolts and used paracord and a series of clove hitches to secure the mount to my rack which held it nicely. Then used a razor to chop about a half inch from the spout, allowing the cap to close entirely and securely. Annoying, but an easy fix really. The gas can itself feels very rugged and well made. The mounting system itself is nice too aside from the ridiculous hardware you can’t use. But other than that, it looks great and feels like it will last. I haven’t fill it up yet so if it springs any leaks, I’ll include it.

Can looks good. Mount is worthless.
I have no idea how you are supposed to bolt the mounting system to something and then get the can on there when the U-bolts stick out an inch into the area where you are supposed to mount the gas can.

Good price. Needs some modification to mount
First off, the tank comes with a mount. It screws in and “locks” in place. Could be tighter but seems just fine. The mount it comes with takes a little modification to really work. My roof rack has about 1/2” rails. The U bracket that holds on the mount is too long to fit tightly. I trimmed them down by about half and that did the trick. The U bracket is also a little too wide to fit through the holes in the mount. I squeezed the ends with pliers until they fit through. Other than that, the whole rig seems sturdy and is a really good price.

Not as cheap as I thought.
I don't like buying cheap or inferior products. But my bank account was low so I took a chance on this unit for my ATV for a long-term trip.Surprisingly it did not leak It held up very well, and for the price that comes with a mounting bracket is a very good deal.

It works just fine despite some of the reviews
The cons people state aren't really valid in a lot of cases.1. The spout won't go flush preventing a tight seal...it's true the spout doesn't go flush, however it still seals tightly and does NOT LEAK despite this fact. I tested it thoroughly.2. The U bolt bracket prevents the can front sitting flush against the bracket etc...also true but doesn't actually matter. The mounting bracket still works just fine. This is a pretty solid product overall. I'd buy it again

Worked as it should.
Tank worked as it was built to do. With such a small tank could easily build without the vent hole. I have other brand tanks like this and it’s made with similar construction. The center connection is smaller then the competitors tank mounts so they will not fit with this tank. It does come with its own mount but not nearly as robust as other brands.

Garbage
Not real pleased. Description says "ATV" in it. The mounting bracket is worthless and will not hold up under the rigors of trail riding. The cap doesnt seal properly because the spout extends too far into the jug. The U bolts are too small too fit around any bars other than bicycle handle bars...and had to be pinched with channelok pliers to fit into the mount holes. The whole design of this...was a train wreck right out of the box. Spend another $30 & get something with a better design. Junk.
