Just for the packaging everything looks great. It will make it a great gift for housewarming or birthdays. I opened the box and felt like it was mine. I haven't tried it yet but just for the presentation I give 5 stars. Thank you!!

I got the product on time. I am a little disappointed though. The bowl seems to be of poor quality and the stirrer is already falling apart, some of the prongs have broken off. It was not cheap either.

I'm a long time customer of Kenko tea products, this set lives up to their high quality. I use the whisk to prepare matcha in the mornings and love the little stand that keeps it dry. Bowl is of very high quality and perfect shape for whisking my matcha.

The whisk & holder and bamboo spoon are OK but the bowl is very rough inside. I'm sorry to say but it's very poorly made and I will not be using it.

It works great and is exactly as described.

UPDATE (03/07/2016):This tea set is still giving me joy as I drink my Matcha tea in small servings. The one exception in the Whisk, which doesn't seem like it will be durable enough to withstand much long term pressure. Some of the bristles have broken...actually one or more twigs come off every time I make tea. But that's quite alright because I have actually discovered a tea hack: use the coffee maker as a tea maker by putting Matcha in the filter and adding water to the unit. I usually have to go in there with a spoon to keep stirring in order to ensure that the tea gets dissolved, but other than that it is great for enjoying a bigger cup of tea.I love this Matcha Tea Set...it comes with a Whisk, Stand, Bowl, and Scoop. I was tired of mixing my Matcha tea with a spoon and having all of my grounds clump to the bottom of the cup...so this has been great in helping me conserve and drink more tea rather than wasting it. There aren't any instructions included with the set....that's the one thing that I would advise for KENKO to incorporate. I suppose it seems intuitive, but unfortunately I am not that bright. This is an excellent set for any matcha lover. My husband and I really like matcha tea, we primarily make matcha lattes - hot and cold - and we used to make our lattes with whatever we had around the house already. This set really makes the whole process a lot easier! Matcha powder is much easier to mix with a bamboo whisk - no wonder that’s the traditional way to do it! We used to have tons of clumps at the bottom of the tea when we were mixing it with the spoon, and now we hardly have any. The bowl is also perfect for making matcha and I didn’t realize what a big difference it would make. We’d just been using regular old cereal bowls or measuring cups, but the shape of this bowl works really well with the whisk. It really looks nice too! (And it came in a really nice looking box, so I’ve got somewhere to store it).I’m very glad to have a stand for my whisk as well. I actually had another bamboo whisk before I ordered this set and I didn’t really know what to do with it when I wasn’t using it. It was too delicate to just throw in a drawer, but with the stand I am happy to keep it out on the counter. The whisk fits perfectly on the stand, and I think it looks cool. I’m sure it’s much better for the whisk than storing it somewhere without support. I think I may end up ordering another stand for my second whisk.The only thing we don’t really use is the scoop, but that’s because my husband likes to get a precise measure, and I tend to spill powder all over the place with the traditional scoop - but that’s mostly just because I’m not careful. Honestly, I really love this set. If you’re getting into making matcha I would absolutely recommend this because you get everything you need to improve your matcha making experience all in one set. This is a really nice set. I have been looking at Matcha bowls recently. I was making my matcha in as shallow a cup as I could before I got this. The problem was no matter how I tried mixing it there was always matcha in the bottom of my cup. So not only was I not mixing it well I was wasting matcha.That all changed with this set. The scoop is helpful for reaching in to get your matcha out of the container. The long handle is especially helpful if you purchase Ceremonial Matcha that is packed in a bag. The handmade bowl has a nice texture inside and out. I like that it is not "manufactured". The handmade whisk is very nice and blends the matcha perfectly. There is no matcha at the bottom of the bowl when I am done. The whisk stand is very important. The stand helps your whisk retain its original shape while drying. The only thing I would like to see improved would be the stand. The opening in the middle is a little larger than I would like. Therefore it does not pull the center of the whisk tight enough for my liking.
