This light is excellent and very bright. Really easy to install and set up and has a very good sensor. Lights up my whole garden.

UPDATED: This was was a really fabulous bright floodlight. I added a little bracket to allow the light to rotate to the correct angle I needed it to be at. Sensor very reactive and settings easily adjusted. *HOWEVER* following 8months of little use this light has died and does not work. Very disappointing :(Communication with seller indicated a return through Amazon. Amazon kindly dealt with return and full refund.

As others have mentioned in their reviews, this comes with a ridiculously short mains lead of only 35 cm. There are dire warnings about invalidating the guarantee if you open the case. Fortunately I was able to position the light, which was a replacement for a different make, to connect at a nearby junction box. The bracket is flimsy but sufficient to hold it in situ. The instructions are poor but since I have installed a similar light previously I was well aware how they operate. The brilliance of the light is excellent and I have no complaints on those grounds.Update: 14 months after buying it, the LED remains permanently on, making the light useless for its intended purpose and only fit for the recycling centre.

Overall product as described though after half a year some of LEDs were constantly on when sensor was switched off - dimmed light . Then after abour 1 year 4 month the lamp stopped switching on at all and onky few of those LEDs are just visible very dimmed. Guess this lamp is to be treated like a bulb in old lamps though pain in ... with replacing it when dead if installed somewhere high. So don't count it will last much longer than the warranty period.

Seems to be reasonably well made. However the bracket is quite flimsy and does need to be removed so that it can be mounted. This is done by removing the 2 bolts attaching it to the body with a 10mm spanner. The attached flex is only 400mm long and is very short only just managed to reach my junction box, should be longer. The instructions about the adjustment values for time, lux and sensitivity are also missing. However once installed performance is good and covers a massive area with crisp white light. You get what you pay for.

Does the job

The product provides an excellent light although it does take some fiddling to get the settings on the motion sensor correct.However the biggest problem with this item is that it has only about 60cm power lead to the light - terminating in bare ends. The manufacturers do not seem to have thought about the fact that this is an outside item to fix on an external wall. It is therefore highly likely that it will connect with power through that wall. Therefore the unit should be supplied with a long enough cable to go through a thick wall (I would suggest 1.5m of cable) or alternatively to be supplied with a waterproof electrical connector of at least IP65 that could also be fitted on the external wall to connect with a primary cable.Until the manufacturer addresses this anyone purchasing this item must make sure that they do have an appropriate waterproof means of connecting the power cable.

Bought as a direct replacement for a similar floodlight. Great light but bracket is a bit flimsy. On a windy day the wind triggers the pir due to the light wobbling about in the breeze.

Inhandlade 2 st av denna 100w strålkastare till mina föräldrars hus. Lyser riktigt bra och rörelsevakten reagerar snabbt och har bra avstånd. Ett plus är att den INTE går igång på rörelse från t.ex bilar utan att de faktiskt måste vara en levande varelse.Efter detta köp köpte jag även en till mig självRek! +++++

Anzitutto è di estrema facilità nel montaggio e poi il sensore è molto affidabile nell'accendersi e nello spegnersi. Regolato all massimo della sensibilità rileva movimento a circa 12 metri di distanza e quindi suggerisco di lasciare sensibilità al massimo, luminosità a metà per avere accensione crepuscolare e time molto corto, tipo 20 secondi.

Il cavo elettrico di collegamento è lungo 30-40 cm. Bisogna tenerne conto per fare il collegamento alla rete elettrica. Facile da montare. Molto sensibile il sensore di movimento. I vari parametri di funzionamento possono essere regolati facilmente. Io lo ho montato all'esterno per illuminare la porta di un locale caldaia che altrimenti di notte è in un punto molto buio
