Nice for gift. Very fragile. Broke one when I opened the box.

Filled them with water just short of the bottom of my hyacinth bulbs. Within days, my bulbs had reached down with roots and were tapping into the water. The vases themselves are the perfect size and very sturdy

Great overall. Perfect for larger bulbs - eg hyacinth, but too large an opening for tulip bulbs. I wish they either made them slightly smaller so both would work or just offer another size.

Used these to grow sweet potato slips! The design makes it easy to hold the top out of the water without using tooth picks

I’ve had a big problem with my hyacinth bulbs falling into the water. I bought a pack of 20 hyacinth bulbs from an online nursery and I had a terribly hard time picking three bulbs that were wide enough not to fall thru the neck into the water. Still, multiple times when I came to check on them, I found them completely submerged in the bottom of the glass. I found another one swimming again today and decided to try toothpicking it like an avocado seed but I have no idea if that is ok to do to a hyacinth bulb. If I don’t however, there’s no doubt this one will die. So please be aware of this and make sure your bulbs are very large or these glasses will not work.

I had hyacinth bulbs, so I bought these for my daughter to force bloom the hyacinths. The string came separately, so be prepared to wrap it around the neck of the bottle yourself. The bulbs fit, perfectly, routed, and bloomed. Not much more to say.

the thickness of the rim in the pictures is deceiving. the bowl part is paper thin. another waste of money

I knew nothing of these until seeing them in a store. I had two struggling hyacinths , could not find them a happy place outside. Purchased this vase set. Love that you can see the roots and know they are growing and doing alright. Starting to get some green sprouting out the bulbs!!

I start the bulbs in the fridge and once the base is filled with roots I bring them out (after Christmas) so I have an early spring in my home usually bloom mid February just when I am getting tired of dreary winter

Paid for 6 vases and received 3.Update: Rating raised from 1 to 3 stars. The seller contacted me immediately to arrange for delivery of the 3 missing vases. One of the vases had a small chip on the rim suggesting the need for better quality control. Other than that, I am satisfied with my purchase.
