Marvel Black Panther

My son was turning 7 and wanted to have a Black Panther themed birthday party, because he's the coolest superhero ever. We were happy to do it, but he hadn't actually seen the movie! We thought he probably needed to be caught up on the details, but he has to earn screentime with good behavior, and we weren't sure he was up for a PG-13 yet (he hasn't seen any of the "real" Avengers movies). Fortunately, he LOVES reading, so we bought this and he powered through it in no time! It captures the main plot without any of the worry.

I love the book because I loved the movie. However, my little one did not find any interest in the book because it did not have enough pic that captured their attention. However, for a child in he age group the book is targeted for, I am sure they will love this just as much as I did. When my little gets a little older, I will introduce this book to them again. I have purchased books not age appropriate for my toddlers, but, they had great pics and they captured their attention and they learned from them books. This was not one of them and I was hoping it was.

Exactly what I expected. The concept of 'junior novels' is stupid af because it isn't a complete novelization, but I knew this going in. I bought it for a specific reason, and wasn't displeased. I read depictions of some scenes I wanted, and confirmed an idea of mine on the movie. You obviously don't want to buy if you want to be unspoiled.I like the writing in this one, which was faaaar better than the Dr Strange one I got in 2016.

Got this for my 8-year old and he really enjoyed reading it. I think it introduced all of the main characters and was very engaging. Perfect for that age.

I made the purchase for my grandson. He loves the book.Seeing his increase interest in reading makes me smile.

My 6 year old was dying to watch the movie when it came out but I thought it was too violent for him to watch so I bought this and although it is the same story the text are easier to digest than the "hollywoodian" scenes. He loves to pictures at the end

My son will literally squeal when he opens this. Great for a 3rd or 4th grader who's reading isn't really advanced but wants to get into reading about Black Panther after seeing the killer movie that came out this year. Now if we could just find more Black Panther merchandise....

I've been trying to get my son to read more without the overlying effect of feeling like a punishment for him. I believe this book has started a love for reading! Previously, he seen the movie so it allowed him to relate the chapters with the movie.
