They work great for the transition from my 4" dust ports on my woodworking machines to my DustRight collection hose. Nice tight, friction fit seals it tight.

My ducting system is made up primarily of Powertec but these rockler fittings have been a lifesaver in a couple of instances. Currently I’m using them as a coupler in places where I had inconsistent parts from Powertec. I have these as part of the dust right quick connect system and they were a game changer for me. These and a few other Rockler fittings have really been life savers for me while putting this all together. I’m a huge fan of rockler products

I recently got the dust right connector starter pack which only comes with 1 of these adapters. I have a handful of tools that have the option for 4" dust collection and wanted to get those setup as well. I now have my bandsaw, jointer, and planer setup with these adapters and am using a 2.5" to 4" adapter at my table saw for now (the table saw doesn't have 4 inch standard). I intend on also getting this setup on my router table once that is built.As far as function goes, they come with the hose clamps to attach via a rubber housing and this works well, it may take a little effort to get it over the 4" ports but is tight once it gets clamped down. The picture on here shows the rubber part being black, but the ones I received were gray rubber part and black plastic part. The rockler website matches what I received color wise. I was happy to buy them at Amazon because shipping was free and the price was equivalent to Rockler, but required a minimum for free shipping.I would and probably will buy these again to make my life easier when switching my dust collector between tools.

I enjoy my new dust collection system in my home workshop. These tool ports make switching dust collection hoses between my tolls fast and easy.

These connections are a must for a small shop. It allows me to move my dust collection hose from one tool to the next. Working out of a garage as a hobby, I do not have the space to run dedicated lines to tools. These allow the hose to be moved from one tool to the next with ease. Rockler usually over sells these, so sometimes I've had to wait, but they are worth it.

Easy to install, does its job.

Fit like a glove.

Maybe a bit pricey, but works well and the rubber boot is excellent for connecting to a variety of different components, compensating for a range of sizes.
