My cat strongly prefers Fancy Feast.
My cat had been eating Friskees canned food but he was throwing up a lot for no apparent reason. I decided to change his diet to see if I could get that under control. I bought both Sheba and Fancy Feast Wet Cat Food, Grilled in the little cans. We had previously been feeding Baby Friskees in the 6 ounce cans. This food looks great. It smells OK, Nothing fishy or too strong. It has gravy and little chunks of meaty stuff. I thought Baby, who is turning 8 years old soon, would love it but he was mehhh about it. However, he really liked the Fancy Feast which, to me, looked about the same as Sheba. The ingredients and nutrition are similar as was the price as I recall. For some reason, my cat just isn't thrilled with Sheba cat food. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Cats have preferences too and mine says, "Fancy Feast, please." He will eat this if I give it to him and his diva antics of sniffing it and walking away don't convince me to give him a different brand but I don't want him to eat something he doesn't like.I will note though that his throwing up was reduced quite a bit when we switched to the small cans of Sheba and Fancy Feast. Maybe I was just overfeeding him by giving him the whole 6 ounce can. At any rate, I won't be buying more of this brand but I can't say there is anything wrong with it. It's just a cat thing, I guess. I rated it 3 stars based on my cat's preference but if your cat likes it, I would say it is a 4 star food as far as nutrition, price vs. amount you get, and gravy to food ratio.

Sheba Premium Cut Whitefish & Tuna Entree
My little furry baby has to be one of the fussiest felines around. I have virtually tried most of the canned cat food on the market, and some he will eat, some he will tolerate if he is really hungry, and some he will just not even touch. This is the first time I have purchased Sheba, so I did not know what to expect. When I fed him this Sheba product, he just about swallowed it. Then I had to open another can and he was very happy. When he is happy, I am happy. All I can say is that this little guy is very excited when he sees me putting Sheba in his bowl.. No waste. Would be great if Sheba made a 5 oz. can. It was not that the flavor was Whitefish and Tuna, he also loves the Salmon; Beef and Chicken; and of course the Tuna. I will purchase all the flavors that Sheba produces in their canned cat food that I can find. I know he wiil be satisfied and so will his mom and that is the bottom line. Definitely recommend Sheba to other kitty kat moms out there.

The cans are a significantly better value than the ridiculous Duos Sheba is trying to force people to buy. This is the only grain-free wet food our cats seem to eat consistently--it's not high quality food but they don't add a lot of problematic ingredients, so I'm ok with this being part of their diet, with the rest being very high quality dry and freeze-dried raw. However the last order I placed for two cases of cuts contained one of the cuts and one of the salmon pate, which they aren't crazy about. It's just too damn much trouble to pack up and return now that I've already sorted the food with another order of chicken cuts. To be fair, the labels are very similar, so neither the warehouse picker nor I noticed the difference at a glance. If I hadn't unpacked it I would have asked for replacement.

More Poor quality control
Quality control is lousy! One shipment the gravy is dark and runny and on another shipment, the gravy is white and thick. My cats know the difference and the dark gravy is wasted and must not taste good.(update) I am sick of having bought food from Sheba and I have to toss it. My cats eat the Sheba Tuna and Gravy Cuts (only). Imagine spending a fair amount of money and the cats won't eat it. My cats think they are being punished because if they don't eat it, they have only dry food. I am now afraid to buy again at Amazon. They must have a lot of it. My last two purchases were horrible. Thanks to Amazon for refunding my money so I could buy more at Chewy.com.

Sheba Salmon and Chicken with gravy.
My cat is a fussy 16-yr old with ornery tastes to match. Dental issues seem to make even the most finely diced meat difficult to chew. However, he eats dry food in small quantities along with crispy and soft treats. He is also a master of begging at the table. Hot dogs, turkey, steak, beef and liverwurst. Also eats cottage cheese, yogurt, cheddar, sour cream and Laughing Cow wedges. He may not do more than lick the gravy off the salmon & chicken becz he knows there's other stuff available. That's our Mikey:-)

Cans vs Perfect Portions...
My kitty and I are on the fence on these cans, I thought I was getting a bargain price for them over the Perfect Portions but she's not eating the whole can (I give her half a can a day) like she did the other so I'm probably throwing away almost a half can over two days. I also didn't realize when I ordered that there is a slight variance in the ingredients between the cans and the Perfect Portions even though they are both Salmon Cuts so maybe she just prefers the different formula in the Perfect Portions?? I'll be keeping track to see if it's worth it to buy the cans again or not.

She attacks this like a mother effing savage and then is *gasp* actually ...
This is the only foot my cat (who lost some teeth in her street cat days) can or will eat in its entirety. Even shredded food and some other pate types don't cut it.She attacks this like a mother effing savage and then is *gasp* actually nice afterwards. Friskies can't touch this.

Great food - cat loves it.
I have a wonderful 'street' cat that we took in. Hi is such a great pal. He loves people, dogs and other cats. For dry food we feed him Nutrro Max Cat and Sheba is his wet food. Both are made by the same company. He really loves them. I am at the tip of Cape Cod and Sheba is not available in our 1 food store so I went online and bought two cases. I can't recommend both of these products enough. Try one little can and see what happens yourself. Neither I nor anyone I know have any financial or other interest in the company.
