The hardback volume was very well made. If you like graphic novels with horror balanced by a good bit of humor and a touch of the absurd, you should consider this one. It was a great introduction to Joe Hill’s “Hill House” collection, and I’m looking forward to reading more. I’m going to let it sit and tumble around in my mind for a bit, but it will definitely be worth a reread. Review: Lots of fun - 4.5 stars Great graphics with an awesome, fleshed out tale. June is a an amazing heroine that you just want to root for all the way to the end. Quite an enjoyable twist at the end as well.

Good story but not much horror
I didn't buy this with high expectations and it definitely wasn't on a par with his other well known comic, Lock & Key. But for a single volume comic it was pretty decent. The art style was acceptable as well but the most important aspect of Joe Hill's writing imo, is his ability to build an atmosphere and craft the world in which he wants to tell a story.

DC is kicking butt
Great story. Should be a mini series. As a collector of comics and years of reading it’s great to see these creative fun ones.

Pretty good
I don't usually read graphic novels but this was likeable, the drawings were good and colourful. Nice read would recommend if you are a bit tired of reading regular books it's a nice change

June ….
Read in one sitting! Actually my introduction to this author…The art in the book and overall story was entertaining. So much so I couldn’t stop reading until I was done. Great quick read.

Interesting
Not the best joe hill book, but interesting, and it was a graphic novel which was new. I gave it a 3 for being ok.

Absolutely brilliant!
Joe Hill has a wicked sense of the world, and I, for one, hope he continues creating these fantabulous fantasy stories that enable me (& many others) to actually see his vision - this graphic novel goes above & beyond, the illustrations are magnificent; I’m so happy I got this!
