Dakine 20-Litre Garden Pack

I love this backpack! Color, styling, craftsmanship is all top notch. The best thing about this pack is the size and organization of the pockets. The front pocket is great for all the small stuff (wallet, keys, pens, etc) and has more space than it looks. It also has an inner zipper pocket for important things so they don't fall out when you open the main pocket. The larger opening is nice and big with a laptop separator. I got this to take to disney and it was perfect. It has a slimmer design so its easy to navigate in a crowd without knocking into people, yet larger enough for all the junk I lug for my kids with room left for souvenirs. The straps are comfortable even with lots of weight in it, but it did get a little hot on my back. I think that would be true of any loaded backpack in Florida though. The small pouch is perfect for sunglasses and cell phones. It's not waterproof, it's canvas, but it kept the contents dry on water rides. And it's super cute.

Good organizer in the small pocket. With soft slots for glasses. Outside pocket and water bottle holders are useful. Padded laptop sleeve and comfortable!

I have a prom Dakine backpack and was so happy with it I chose to purchase the Garden Pack when looking for a larger backpack for vacation. This bag is great and has useful and well thought out storage compartments. The straps are soft and do not cut into my shoulders even if what I am carrying is relatively heavy. Highly recommend all Dakine products. My only complaint about this pack is that the sunglasses pocket does not seem to be made of of the same super soft material as my Dakine Prom. It still has the sunglasses pouch, the material it is made out of just seems somewhat cheaper.

I love it is just awesome!! I purchase this backpack due to an elbow injury. I no longer carry a purse or a lunch bag. Everything goes in my backpack including my bottle water. There is plenty of room inside, small pockets for pens, etc... There is also a space for a lap top plus protection for the lap top. I keep my glasses in one of the special pockets made just for glasses. I have had lot's of compliments on it as well. I searched for a backpack in all store and there was nothing that I liked. The designs on it are beautiful!! It is well made and easy to wipe incase there are any spills, it is well worth the money!! ;)

It has very good quality, you can put a bunch of things in there such as your laptop, maybe a sweater and basic stuff. I recommend it if you're not looking for something big.

Looks like it can easily hold a newer laptop that isn't too fat and a large binder. Would be good for a college student who doesn't have to carry text books to class but may be too small for someone that carries books everyday. The lining and zippers/accents are a pretty bright yellow that look great against the black fabric.

My daughter is in middle school and this is her second school year using this backpack. It is made so well and has taken so much abuse but it still looks great, zippers work like new, and there aren't any holes or tears, even though she packs it full everyday with heavy books. I love the design of it and makes the distribution of weight less cumbersome for her. A lot of her friends have complimented her on it. The color was exactly what she wanted. It's not as big as some backpacks, but this one fits in her locker at school and holds everything it needs to. Absolutely recommend!

I had this same bag in the Feather print. It was an epic do all bag. I grabbed this one because it's the only one I could find in the same design. The only thing I would change is that I would make it that beautiful feather pattern again. Lol. However, this one has a classic look and will still be a best all arounder. Also meets the requirements for an additional bad to your carry on at all airlines, I measured at the airport lol. Dakine, if you ever print the feather one again, please call me.

Ich habe vor einigen Wochen mir diesen tollen Dakine Rucksack gekauft. Zuvor hatte ich auch schon einen anderen Dakine Rucksack und war auch sehr zufrieden. Mein neuer gefällt mir aber um einiges besser. DIe Farben sind genauso schön, wie auf dem Foto. Die Aufteilung ist besonders in der Universität total praktisch. Mein Netbook passt rein, aber auch ein Ordner oder ganz viele Bücher und Mappen. Besnders toll finde ich bei diesem Rucksack die Getränkehaltertaschen. Bei dem alten hat eine 1,5 L Wasserflasche dann doch zu oft rausgeschaut und ist herausgefallen. Hier hält die Flasche ideal. Sie steht viel besser in der Vorrichtung. Rücken- und Schulterpolster machen das Tragen des Rucksacks angenehm und optisch wirkt mein oft sehr vollgepackter Rucksack eher sehr dünn. So sieht man nicht aus wie ein Packesel - kann dennoch aber viel im Rucksack verstauen. Ich kann ihn nur weiterempfehlen.

I always carried my 13.3in laptop in backpacks that were too big for it, since I could not find any smaller ones in shops. That is why I wanted to try this backpack. The other reason is because it's not a dull monochromatic bag. Available in many different prints, the only downside is it's hard to choose which print you like the most:) Materials used and sewing is excellent, there is a handle to carry the bag in your hand, and (sun)glasses and water bottle pouches are included. I could not be happier with this bag. It is just the right size, it is lightweight and the flower print I chose makes it very feminine.

Ich habe dieses Modell ("Garden") aufgrund seines gering angegebenen Volumens (20l - obwohl mit einer Höhe von 45cm relativiert sich das wieder) für meine Tochter (8 J.) bestellt und muss sagen, als Schulrucksack ist er für diese Schulstufe nicht geeignet! Erstens kann er nicht alleine stehen bleiben, egal, wie vollgefüllt er auch ist (höchstens, wenn er wo angelehnt ist, aber da rutscht er meistens weg). Und leider kann man ihn auch nicht am Tischhaken aufhängen, weil der Tragegriff oben viel zu dick und die Öffnung zu klein ist, weshalb er also die meiste Zeit am Boden herumliegt. Eine flache Aufhängeschlaufe, wie sie bei vielen Rücksäcken vorhanden ist, und Abhilfe schaffen könnte, fehlt hier leider. Von der Verarbeitung kann ich nichts bemängeln, aber wir haben ihn erst seit einem halben Jahr in Einsatz. Was mir beim Auspacken störend auffiel, war, dass eine ziemliche Chemie-Duftwolke aufstieg und er daher die ersten Tage zum Auslüften musste.
