These “Water Hyacinth” slippers are the best invention as foot wear. Looking at the picture I thought it would be rough on my foot like the material from a wicker basket. I was wrong! The material is soft, smooth and comfortable and very light like nothing is there under my foot. It’s cool in hot weather and warm when cold. However, it does make a slight fiber friction sound on hard surface. This manufacturer has another design sold through Amazon. Unlike this design the former was very uncomfortable to wear and was returned. It must have been their first prototype. I purchase these slippers to wear around the house. Size (S) on the former did not fit well. On these (S) was a perfect fit. Small I would say is equivalent to Men 6.5 or women 8. These beat the straw slippers I have bought over the years. I would buy it again!

I'm disappointed. I was really excited about these slippers but ...
These items were too wide and yet too short. They broke in about a week, and I only wore them a couple days of that week. I'm disappointed. I was really excited about these slippers but I ultimately feel as though I've wasted my money.

something that would make myself and guests feel comfortable (and stylish) around the house
I was looking for a unique house slipper, something that would make myself and guests feel comfortable (and stylish) around the house. I must admit, when they first arrived, they were snug for my feet, but over the course of a couple hours they loosened up to a good width. (I have a size 8 (wide) shoe size (U.S.A), and ordered the 9.5 - medium size… so they currently run small.) They have pleasant cushion yet are lightweight, so it’s a total upgrade to socks on my hardwoods. Additionally, they can be easily wiped down to maintain cleanliness. They seem to be well woven and I feel that they will last a long time.

These seemed like a great idea. The length in ok but the vamp is way too large. These won’t stay on my feet. These are handmade and all different I’m sure so it’s s crap shoot. If they fit I would like them.

I do not like these at all as they are way to wide and slide off my feet. They are stiff as well and in order to soften them they will stretch and get even bigger.

i love these! have been wearing them around the house for a couple months already sooo comfy
they take a couple days for them to mold to your foot, a little but slippery at the start, but it is worth wearing them in! love them. will buy again once i have worn them out :)
