Was great up until 20mph winds at the beach just broke the metal in half while umbrella was screwed down in the sand. Not strong metal at all. But very lightweight & portable. Only use for NOT windy days.

I highly recommend this umbrella! This was a great buy, and I am so glad we had it. Starting with the carrying bag, it was sturdy and convenient. Each time we disassembled the umbrella and put it back in the bag with ease. It always fit easily! The umbrella itself was also wonderful. Very, very sturdy and we even had a pretty windy day. Easy to assemble. Just make sure you’re pushing down in the ground as you “screw” the bottom part of the pole down in the sand. Obviously, the further down in the sand the pole is, it’s sturdier. Material seems to be quite durable and the colors are vibrant. I feel like this was a wonderful buy, definitely great value. 👍🏼 Don’t hesitate!

Easy 2 piece with a great sand anchor that swivels in the sand. Perfect for a beach day, it holds against the wind on a beach day. Super easy pack up and set up, light and the color was beautiful. The 2 poles were bigger but light compared to all the others on beach with vents and Great shade and pretty matching carry bag. I got the blue so it had 5 or 6 blue colors so striking on the beach, I definitely recommend this one a must have for the beach.

i used this umbrella for the first time at the beach today. the umbrella was easy to screw into the sand and assemble, and held up for four hours, even when it was windy. it is lightweight and easy to carry, which i also appreciate since i live about a 5-min walk to the ocean.the one negative is that the umbrella description says it provides sun protection and it absolutely does NOT. i sat under the umbrella from about noon-4pm and didn’t put on sunscreen because i thought i was covered (literally), and i got absolutely fried. if you’re prone to sunburn, don’t be a dummy like me and remember to put your SPF on before sitting under this umbrella!

This umbrella has provided excellent shade at the beach and in the yard for two summers now. Screw end isn’t that tough, but adequate for a sandy beach or a fresh dug gopher mound. In a breeze, I’ve used a couple bungee cords to lash it to the lawn chair I’m sitting in (also useful for out on the cul de sac to supervise bikes and scooters on a sunny summer morning).

I bought this because of the price and the fact that it came with a handle carrying bag which makes it very easy to carry when your hands are full of dog leashes and snacks. Check this on the beach in Lake Michigan which can be a very windy place. The umbrella held up fine. I watched some reviews and I would say it's always a good idea to clear as much sand as you can with your feet so you can get the auger part of the umbrella into the harder sand so make sure you do that part and your umbrella should be fine! It's actually easy to fit back in the carry case, much easier than I thought it would be. I'm so happy I bought it because now we can go places where there is no shade because we are bringing our own! Happy dogs :)

I LIKE THE BEAUTIFUL SHAED IT ALLOW YOU TO HAVE, HOWEVER IT IS NOT THAT STURDY, BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO TAKE OF A SECTION TO PUT IT IN THE HOLE ON THE TABLE.
