Supergoop! Sunscreen SPF 40,1.7 Fl Oz

If you have oily skin like me, you'll know how difficult it is to find the right sunscreen that would help you with sun protection as well as go well with makeup, but wouldn't leave your face looking like a big goopy mess, ready for frying eggs come afternoon. ;) There was a different iteration of Supergoop that I was looking for but apparently, that has been discontinued, then I found this. Wow. Gamechanger.The texture of this is of a silicone makeup primer, and when you put it on it actually has some mattifying effect on your face. Being that we're all not going anywhere I've been using this by itself a lot. It takes a long time before the oil in my face starts getting visible, unlike regular sunscreen where my face would be instantly shiny. It feels soft on the skin, almost like powder. Under makeup, it performs like a regular primer, but with the great sunscreen purpose. It is quite expensive for how much of the product you get, but to be fair, you don't need a lot of it at a time. Not sure though if I was supposed to slather it on as one would with regular sunscreen. I've been using pea-sized amounts each time, and well, I feel protected. Not gotten sunburnt yet. :)

1. I cannot tell where I just applied this sunscreen. I think it's a good thing and a smart marketing strategy! But this magical sunscreen MELTS right into my skin with NO shininess that I totally lose track of where I applied it, even when paying attention.2. The tube comes SEALED. I was looking for this answer, so want to make sure to note this for other people. It comes in a box, and the tube is inside. When you unscrew the cap, there is a foil seal that ensures no one else "tried" out your brand new tube. With the price of this stuff being so high, I am glad they package it like this. My tube from Amazon also had an expiration date.3. I don't know HOW they made this formula, but I will be buying it until I die. Hopefully wrinkle free. I've tried SO, SO many "matte," "weightless," and "invisible" sunscreen but this one is crazy good. No comparison out there, even from really expensive brands.

I bought this after realizing I need to be wearing sunscreen daily but didn't want to LOOK like I was wearing sunscreen daily. Supergoop's Unseen sunscreen did the job perfectly.I have oily skin, so I was conscious about using a product that wouldn't make my skin shine like the Pacific Ocean at sunset. Putting this sunscreen on feels almost like you're putting on a VERY light version of Vaseline. It's not heavy, it goes on smooth, and a little goes a long way (which is good, because it's expensive). Remember, though, this is still sunscreen, so you're going to feel it a little, but compared to the other products I've used nothing comes close to how truly unseen this product is. Some reviewers have commented that they think it has a mattifying effect. I think that's true to a very small degree. At the very least, it does not make an oily situation worse.

I have always used Tinted Moisturizer with SPF, and thought it was good enough, but when I added Vitamin-C to my routine it was recommended to use an actual mineral based daily sunscreen. I'll be honest, I hesitated at the price but this exceeded all my expectations. It is clear and weightless - it goes on a little matte and has replaced primer in my routine. I have extremely sensitive skin and I'm prone to breakouts but this caused zero irritation or breakouts from day one. The best news is that the bottle lasts FOREVER. I just finished my first bottle today that I started using end of October and I use it every day. I can't recommend this enough and have bought a back up bottle to just make sure I never run out.

This is, hands down, THE BEST primer I have EVER used. I saw a review of this product on professional makeup artist Wayne Goss' YouTube channel. I decided to order it on a whim, and I am so glad I did! I have some light scarring on my face from both a case of chicken pox as a child and hormonal acne in my late twenties. It's not horrible, but when I wear foundation, it seems to settle into the little dips and makes it much more noticeable. The Super Goop fills them in! Yes, you read that right. The Super Goop fills in the scarring and my skin looks flawless once I put on my foundation. I honestly wasn't expecting this much out of the product, but I am thrilled. I will be telling everyone I know, and Super Goop has a customer for life! If I could give this 10 stars, I would!

I love this product enough that I am on my third tube. I have ongoing issues with skin cancer so I am now super diligent about sunscreen. This has a silicone/gel texture that leaves my face super smooth and non-oily. It almost acts as a pore reducer and makeup primer. I gave it 4 stars only because it is pricey. I guess you get what you pay for and this is a great lotion.

I hate putting on sunscreen. I have tactile issues and having lotion or sunscreen on my skin drives me crazy. I also have very fair skin so I need to wear something to prevent burns. I actually read up on sheer sunscreens to try and find something I can wear comfortably. This was on several lists. It's kind of expensive. But it goes on so light and after it dries in a few minutes it actually felt really nice on my skin.So yeah, it's expensive but it's actually wearable, my skin feels better after wearing it, it works well, and while I don't wear makeup apparently it can be used under makeup since it dries so sheer and non-greasy. You don't need much, a Chick-pea size amount was enough to cover my face, ears and neck.
