After using non-pass-thru connectors for years -- and having about a 30% failure rate -- I switch to pass-thru connectors using this crimping tool. What a difference! It's so much easier to make properly-functioning cables with this connector and the pass-thru method. I wish I had discovered this years ago. This crimper is well-made and works great. As soon as tge crimpers arrive the company I work for handed out a new pair.Haven't had the opportunity to use yet.Looks sturdy.

I like that the wiring for ethernet type A and B is printed right on the tool. Needed to terminate telephone wires for my home improvement and this tool handles it too. No need to buy a different tool. Very easy to use!

Worked just great for pass through crimping and end cut. I’ve been using regular crimpers on the pass throughs and having trouble with cutting the wires before or after crimping. My eyesight is not very good and these were much easier and had no trouble with failed connections, with 5 cables, so far. I do push down the handles hard 3 times after every crimp, but did that with the Klein’s too. I didn’t and wouldn’t use them for stripping wires. Get a dedicated tool for that.

Good pair of crimpers, compared to a previous Irwin branded crimper. No issues, was able make about 20 connectors in one sitting without any problems.Cutters are not as sharp as I want but still cuts cleanly on heavily shielded cables.

I have only used this to make a few cat 6 cables so far, but I really like the pass through connectors this crimp tool kit came with. It is very easy to use.

For the most part it does its job. The tolerance could be better for the plug side cutter to cut the wires on the through holes.

Crimping did not press in the last pin. Leaving a pin up makes the connector not work, and can damage devices when attempting to plug in the connector

This is must buy product.Good for pass through as well as old rj 45 connectors.Your rj 45 connectors get locked very effectively irrespective whether cable outer layering is hard or soft.It will cut extra wire that's coming out of it by its blade and give us professionally crimpped connectors. It has sharp blades to to cut wire or outer layer.

Pins 6-8 were not working consistently. Tried three pins. Decided to return it.
