It does a great job of handling a long range marginal wifi signal.I used it to improve a marginal wifi signal on a standard netgear router. I disconnected one of the whip antennas and plugged the yagi in there. Works perfectly.I am covering a distance of about 100 yards and through 2 walls.Antenna mounts easily and is a snap to position.Do buy the wire for connecting, as the supplied wire and connection are probably not compatible.

A yagi antenna is a base pole with multiple parallel elements of the same or varying sizes that are positioned perpendicular to the pole. As you can see from the image, this is not that. What makes me see it as a scam is that the exterior is shaped as if it were supporting multiple sized elements, however these elements just don't exist. What they have provided does not have as many elements / components which does not need the plastic outer cone of the length that is provided and it is cheaper.I am returning this for a refund and purchasing a real Yagi-Uda Antenna because the attributes of this antenna wont work for my purposes.

Had to buy another cable for what I needed. It works well for what I needed. I'm not using it for super far distance but to push through walls and have a more solid connection.

Replace stubby little antenna on Amcrest camera. Camera now connects far better to my outdoor access point. Only installation issue was adapting big connector on the unit to fit little SMA connector on camera. Amazon seeks them two for $10. It dosnt work any better then the antenna that came with the router

Not as good as the Tp-link , reviewing it after 2 years , the plastic cover over the plug toasted and highly recommended that put some water tie 3m tape over it , but I stop using this antenna after changing for a better wifi router and a tp-link antenna performing better.

The construction of this unit is nothing but a cable soldered to a plate. The plastic dome is nothing but aesthetics. There is nothing inside the unit, only air. It is shaped to give you the idea that it is an actual antenna, something like a yagi antenna. But its as useful as putting a coffee cup over your receiver. Total waste of money.

This is great way to improve coverage and reception of my existing wireless router and range extenders. I am transmitting between 2 buildings 200yds apart. This is a cost effective way to improve performance although I needed to add one to the range extender half way between the two buildings. And this yagi improves performance of extenders on my property that are not in a exact line.
