Works perfectly in Chamberlain garage door opener.
I needed to replace the incandescent bulbs in my Chamberlain garage door opener with LED bulbs, but wanted to be sure that the LED bulbs would not interfere with my remote controls. Even though the Genie bulbs were more expensive than regular 60W LED bulbs, they are specifically designed for garage door openers, so I ordered them instead. The Genie LED bulbs came in a standard light bulb box and appear to be of good quality. They work perfectly in my garage door opener and I have not seen any problems with my remote controls. The original incandescent bulbs lasted 20 years. These should last much longer.

Fixed my broken doors!
I had no idea a led bulb could generate interference with garage door receivers! Swapping over to these Genie bulbs fixed the issue where I could not open or close my garage doors with my remote if the light was on!

No interference with garage door opener!
I tried so many different things and finally these bulbs fixed the problem. We had an issue with our garage door remotes randomly not working. Turns out certain bulbs can interfere with the signal. I didn’t want to spend this much on light bulbs, but was very happy to find that they worked (ie didn’t interfere with the signal). Additionally, these put out good light, nice color, and no flickering.

Make your garage remotes reliable with low-noise bulbs
My garage door remotes were not working well at all - unreliable. I tried adjusting the length and positioning of the antenna, and also buying new remotes without success. The only problem I could think of was RF noise/interference from the LED bulbs in the openers. So I replaced the bulbs with these, and it worked. Still don't have great range, but the lack of RF noise from these has made my remotes reliable and stable. One star off for the price. I suspect they are no different from many LED bulbs you can buy off the shelf - just a design that happens to have low RF noise. Since I don't have any way to measure/test for RF noise, I just paid the extra money and installed them.

Put light on the subject.
Exactly what I needed and sent for.

Very bright but still a mix between soft white and bright white
Only complaint is that they don’t come in daylight or bright white. Significantly brighter than the bulbs in my last head unit and the bulbs are definitely quality compared to cheap stuff you get from bad factories overseas

Works well without RF interference - updated Genie bulb is improved
Pros:• Works flawlessly with Genie Garage door opener• No Radio Frequency interference with opener• Whiter light (as compared to previous Genie bulb)• More energy efficient (as compared to previous Genie bulb)Cons:• None – hopefully it lasts at least as long as the previous bulbThis Genie LED bulb works flawlessly in a Genie garage door opener. It lights quickly with a white light, and does not appear to produce radio frequency interference as many standard LED bulbs do that can interfere with the receiver. It does exactly what it is supposed to do.This bulb is actually a replacement for the previous generation Genie LED bulb LEDB1-R. I checked my Amazon orders, and I had ordered 2 of the original Genie bulbs in December of 2016. One of those 2 bulbs failed after roughly 6 years of service. When I went to order a replacement, it appears that Genie has updated the model for the bulb to the newer GLEDB2-R model. The newer, current GLEDB2-R bulb appears to be a new, improved and likely lower cost design. It is a cooler color temperature and appears to be more of a pure white than the definite warm white of the GLEDB1-R previous bulb. The new bulb is specified as 4000K color temperature. I’ve taken photos of both bulbs in the opener with both the plastic cover open and closed for comparison. The left, more yellow bulb is the original, the right bulb is the new GLEDB2-R.The new bulb does appear to be even more energy efficient than the previous generation. It is specified at 78 mA versus 102 mA with both specified at 800 lumens light output. Other than the color temperature, the light output appears similar. The new bulb is also somewhat lighter, so has likely been cost reduced as well. It is hard to know if any RF filtering components have been cost reduced. It does seem to work fine, and there is no problem with closing the door remotely when the bulbs are lit.
