Clipper works well for my thick nails. Only wish the handle openings were bigger. My large fingers get squished using it.

Couldn't maneuver properly and gave up because I didn't want to hurt myself.

Found these very easy to use, no problem positioning on nail. If you have normal thickness toenails I would definitely recommend. They did not work well on my thicker big toe but did ok on others. So much easier to reach nails 😊.

Cuts nails ok. Little awkward near the ends. Good for back issues.

I had these scissors on my amazon wish list for a couple of months and I finally gave in and ordered them. I wish I hadn't.While I do have the problem that these are intended to solve, these scissors are not the solution. Yes, they are sort of sturdy and strong with serrated blades and the handles fit the hand comfortably. But the implementation of cutting toenails is not that effective:--they are awkward to hold in place or at the proper angle--they are difficult to position, especially under the smaller toenails--when you start cutting, they slip out of position.I would have assumed that these scissors were designed for older people like me who no longer have perfect vision or steady hands or a great deal of flexibility to reach toenails. I was wrong. If I could do the contortions necessary to align the blades with the toe nails, I wouldn't need special scissors, any clipper would do.The scissors do cut well . Younger, more steady, and more flexible people might find them useful. As for me, I have relegated them to my craft scissors box (tried them on paper, fabric, and felt) in the hope that, at some point, I will find some use for them.

i got these to clip my toe nails... i was hoping they were long enough, b/c of my hip arthritis ... alas, they are four to six inches too short for my needs, but good for other cutting tasks ... i wish they came with much longer handles ... amazon order status still shows they are on the way, but there is no way for me to click and change that status to delivered...

I am in my 80s, and reaching my feet for nail trimming had become impossible. These long-handled nail scissors give me just enough extra length to make the job possible again. So happy not to have to ask for help!

Cheaply made and made for small kids hands

Why are these a "best seller" and why so many 5 star reviews? Absolutely useless for their intended purpose as "Toenail Scissors".My toenails are quite thick but other, shorter, toenail scissors cut them with ease. I required a longer handle due to arthritis in my right hip.Firstly, my fingers and thumb tips just about fit in the handles. The holes are too small. That hand and fingers/thumb in the picture must be very small. When a cut is attempted the handles bend and the blades distort resulting in no cut whatsoever.It's not worth returning because of postage cost so unfortunately these are destined for he bin!

This item is misrepresented unless the description is grammatically incorrect, yes they are long handled scissors no there are not any clippers.I find the scissors difficult to use as the aperture in the handles is extremely small (suitable only for tiny fingers) and I have to pry them off my hand after use.I personally feel that this product is overpriced and although I am not going to the trouble of returning them I cannot recommend them for anyone that has larger than tiny fingers.

Absolute rubbish. Poorly made - not the quality I would have expected at this price. They are just not rigid enough and do bend the toe nail rather than cut it - not a pleasant experience. Also, as others have reported - the thumb/finger holes really are too small. I need a solution to enable me to cut the toe nails on my right foot (leg does not bend), I still need a solution!

I consider these helix naturals toenail scissors to be useless. As other reviewers have also said, they are much too thick at the point. Certainly I cannot understand how they can be a bestseller. Unfortunately I purchased two pairs, one for a friend. Don't waste your money !!

I found these to be of very poor quality.The action of these scissors is rough and grinds.They do not cut properly. Handles uncomfortable and cheap plastic. Highly overpriced for this quality of product.(I Have bought much better scissors from a pound shop.)Could only recommend to keep away from this item.
